Join the club in FB. Lots of helpful techy guys there to guide you through, or maybe they would even help you update it themselves during EBs.

Am I right to assume that it was designed that way due to do the driver's viewing angle?
Your theory could be correct. Our Subaru has a similar behavior as well.

I was about to ask the same question on Mazda 6. I thought it was because of the "bump" by another car on my side mirror that caused it. With your question, I am now assuming that it is normal.

I don't look at it whenever it folds so that it won't "annoy" me.
    😀

I had this same symptom before, it's the first sign that your right side view mirror will soon fail, up to a point that it's hardly moving. Fortunately, it's still under warranty so the casa replaced it (unwillingly at first). After a year I think, the same thing happened again, left it as is this time. Someone who likes me very much I think loves messing with it

Thanks for the FB suggestion, but I don't have an account, will make my life miserable lol.

I think I'll be able to manage the firmware update myself, just need the download link. I've read from mazda3revolution forum that v33 should be rolled back first to v31 before upgrading to v56, else it retain the bluetooth issue even after a successful update.

For me it felt the same. from stock 1.5V to 22/45/18. it just felt more sluggish in traffic maybe because of the added weight.

OVTph is driven more by passion. Reach out to em. Calls shouldn't cost more than network charges.[emoji4]
