Interesting. I still find the M3 ride quite comfortable even with the low profile tires. I also drive other sedans with bigger tire sidewalls and I still find the M3 ride not so "matagtag" but road feel is more noticeable though. That additional road feel is probably beneficial as it makes me more careful to drive on uneven/bumpy roads which will extend the durability of the suspensions.

Yes, comfort is generally directly proportional to tire aspect ratio or profile....but all hope of retaining or even increasing comfort isn't lost when going lower profile.
You can search for tires known for comfort. Our other car came w/ 205/45/17 Yoko A-Drives....terrible!!! Switched em to Aeolus AU04s, a kept secret.....more comfort & silence immediately felt. Our 2, some other 2ners & Mown3rs are now on AU04s. Grip is good dry & wet. Treadwear decent.
Another instant comfort increase approach would be dampers. KONI FSD 2100-4166 or its update, the SPECIAL ACTIVE 1140-8211. When your stock dampers go, get either of these 2 models. Night & day!!!!

If you're more about comfort & performance, find a set of significantly lighter wheels, 16s or 17s. There are many out there. You can retain comfort, get better FC, extract more transmitted ponies & have an improved overall drive experience.
However, don't expect an upgrade in proportional aesthetics. The 3 looks balanced w/ 18s.... sick on 19s....And wicked w/ a mild drop.[emoji4]

Would you know of reputable tire shops selling this brand here at Metro Manila?
I read from this article that Aeolus is a Chinese brand tire. Hopefully quality and durability are comparable (or even better than) to PH-made Yokohama budget tires.

In this day & age, products shouldn't be pre-judged by geography. I don't blame the bias, though. There indeed are many crappy Chinese tires out there. Aeolus, their truck tires & AU04s have proven, after a few sets in the work fleet, to be bang for buck. Not cheap, relative to most Chinese brands, but worthy (performance, comfort & longevity-wise) options. Their passenger line was developed & briefly owned by Pirelli. I'm not into brand endorsements.....but this is a discovery worth sharing. A good combo of quality & hobo.[emoji4]

July 16th, 2018 07:00 PM #2510Hey guys, I noticed that my M3's right side view mirror completely folds and unfolds faster than my left one. I think they have the same speed but the right one's folding angle is shorter than the left's. Is it the same with yours? Is it normal? Am I right to assume that it was designed that way due to do the driver's viewing angle?
