Truth be told, my first choice is crv 2.0 gas cvt. There is no available stock though. With the pending excise tax implementation, im starting to consider cx5. Its nice to hear that I wont go wrong with that choice if ever. It sounds like the implementation starts jan 1st 2018. An arrticle from autoindustriya suggests that its ready for signing within the week.

Though i got the new Cr-v, may times na gusto ko din ng cx-5. Kung sub 2m ang diesel nila baka yun ang kinuha namin. Actually muntik ko na patulan yun previous model na diesel na 1.8m ang price kung may stock.

Got my CX-5 yesterday evening at North Edsa. I reserved the unit on December 8 and got it December 13. Lucky that I have transacted with the very supportive people from Mazda, Mike (manager) and Harold Hanz(Agent). The branch is highly recommended. The purchased will not made possible if not from the equally supportive Jun Florencio(manager) of PSBANK Caloocan. He is easy to deal with. He gave me the lowest possible interest. BGC. My ex office mate is also deciding between the two. He said the same thing. You can never go wrong either way.

The deal breaker is the availability. There are no available diesel cx-5 this year. I'm not sure what the Honda SA told him but he might get his unit before the year ends.

Most premium euros (Bimmers, Mercs) come w/ Start/Stop now. Currently, an imported 100D23L Johnson Controls EFB in the local market has higher specs & lower price than the D23Q65 Motolite EFB. Both share same dimensions as the stock Q85. Let's hope start/stop batt prices drop as supply options rise.

Can I also use the CTEK CT5 Start/Stop charger for ordinary car batteries?

How about the Time To Go charger, can it also be used for the deep cycle type batteries? Lately it's getting difficult to find the Start/Stop charger at Blade store but there's plenty of stock for the Time To Go charger.

I'm quite hesitant to buy from Lazada due to concerns with warranty claims. That's probably just a concern based on anecdotal experiences

I really prefer the Start/Stop charger but would like to use it for other ordinary car batteries. Anyone here able to confirm it also works for ordinary batts?
