I know right. Hehe! I was actually surprised because it been 4 weeks that I have been using my CX-5 and I've been through rains and shallow floods.

Will my warranty be voided if I applied undercoat?

Here are some pictures with the "shields" removed taken from a different site. You can see my concern re undercoat.

Anything to deter rust can't be a bad thing. I just won't go opt for that dirt-attracting bitumen type. If it were to be an offroad trekker, I'd probably rethink.
Got an old reliable 20yr old that has never been coated. The paint would welcome some love, but other than that, factory anti-corriosion measures have effectively kept rust away. The daily driver 3 has been w/ us for over 3years & the underbelly looks pretty good naked.

You have a point. I also have an old 96 model that needs repainting. However I have consistently applied rubberized undercoat every 3-4 years. Still going strong. But we all know very well that newer vehicles never last as long as the older ones. Most of them designed to be disposed in 8-10 years hence the economics of parts longevity. Still contemplating though. Yeah bitumen tends to be a bit messy. I guess it would serve well as a first coat.

The 2 holders should come w/ your unit. In your trunk? Dealerships usually don't hook em til they're told.

It was released with the euro base plate holder na. Ang naka double sided tape is the conduction temp plate.

I had my car (ceramic) coated recently sir. They removed the temp conduction plate in front na nka double-sided tape lng(na walang holder). When they mounted it medyo natatanggal na kaya I decided na huwag nlng muna imount until meron ng plate holder. I called Mazda sta. Rosa and they told me that they will install the plate holder.

Meron ba nakaabang na bolt holes for the holder? I assume wala. Just check if sta rosa will use rivets in installing the holder.

Good day to all, just want to verify with you guys my experience today while test driving the cx5 awd sport coz im planning to get one. However during the test drive i felt the ride is somewhat shaky, parang maalog. Parang ride quality ng swift namin. Mas stable pa yung ride sa everest. Sabi ng SA, dahil daw awd yung test unit pero pag yung fwd daw mas okay. May logic ba? And totoo kayang maalog ang ride ng cx5 just as what i experienced sa test drive? Salamat sa sasagot.

Hahaha...crazy. Have that SA check tire pressures. Tried the AWD...ride/drive= super smooth.
I really am trying not to LOL at the reasoning.[emoji14]

Anebeyen!!! Naihi ako sa SA mo, he he. I havent driven the AWD as I only have the 2WD. You are coming from what ride Sir? When you say maalog you mean easily felt ang road imperfections?

I drive the cx5 more than my ‘16 montero. I feel fresh more when i get out of the mazda than the monty all else being equal. But thats just me.

Baka naman 50psi yung tire pressure he he.

Kung 1st gen ng Everest dito sa Piñas, I guess the Everest has somewhat softer ride. However, sa speeds above 80km/hr, you'll perhaps see the difference. You should also try maneuvering the CX-5 fast on tight corners. The traction control is superb. There are always trade-offs between ride quality and responsiveness, steering etc. For me the CX-5 gets the best of both worlds in terms of balance.

Before I bought the CX-5 I also test drove the Sportage, Tucson, CX-3 and Sta. Fe. My priorities are:
    1. Ride quality
    2. Power/torque/acceleration/speed/fuel efficiency
    3. Exterior and interior looks and color

And guess what I bought? [emoji3]

Sir, OT, but may I know what made you decide to get a CX5 over Tucson and Sportage? I can see the CX5 is better in terms of exterior and interior look as well as its feature sets, but the two Korean models are also substantially cheaper, with good CRDI engine and feature set (especially the Sportage GT line).

Chineck ko ngyn sir yung front. Parang may small circular indentation for the bolt hole. But ill ask sta rosa if they will use rivets to mount the plate.

I forgot to mention. Yeah I tried the Forester XT. Very EXHILARATING yun older 2.5ltr boxer turbo ng friend ko. You want power from a CUV?! This is it. Medjo matagtag lang for me. Ganda din ng interior cockpit. Techie!
