Need some advice... Would you have it nano coated? The dealer has some nano coating services (Brillo, I think). The cost of this is around 20k+ pesos.

I just got an update that the 2.5AWD gas will get an upgrade of memory seats for the driver's side and power seats for the passenger side
However, there is also an upgrade of price. An additional P45k on top of the price.

What's your take?

That's not a good business practice IMO - raising the price after reservations have been made already.

Yeah, deposit or reservation, it is not just about the vehicle only but also serves as a contract between the seller and buyer.

Overwhelmed yata sila with the orders. Oh yes, I've been hearing about this from this forum. They are very mum about what is going to entail with the new engine though. No specs yet kaya cannot confirm the efficacy of this new engine. End of 2018 pa yata mag roroll out ito. Sana hindi naman ganun katagal. I was assured by the SA sa Sept daw darating. keeping my fingers crossed and taking his word with a grain of salt but it has a few changes that are different from the ones we have available now. Sabi daw its the power seat for the passenger and memory button for the driver seats. No word regarding the power lift gate, stop and go traffic brake assist, radar cruise, etc on the 2.5L AWD CX-5.

Just put down the reservation fee for the AWD Sport. Just wanted to check, meron ng Radar Cruise Control tong variant na to right? Yung spec sheet kasi ng CX5 kulang kulang. When I asked the SA, meron daw. I asked him multiple times na actually. Hindi ko din nacheck kasi and test drive unit nila is the FWD.

Does anyone know kung saan delearship may AWD na test unit?

Sa initial offering nila, yung 2.2 diesel lang ang may radar cruise control. The 2.5 AWD had only the normal cruise control. Ngayon, ewan na. I hear from the grapevine na may price increase & added features but wala naman advise yung SA ko.

Update: Iba-iba pa din sagot sa akin ng dealership re: Radar/Adaptive Cruise Control. Nagtanong na ko sa Makati, Pasig, Otis, at Greenhills. Lahat hilaw ang sagot.

AND they updated my quotation, may increase na 45,000! Just for power seats for the passenger side and memory for the driver.

Unfortunately, that was the last straw for me. I pulled my reservation out. Will go for the 4X2 Everest Titanium+ na lang.

My son was grinning when the infotainment was trying to read a tagalog txt i received while connected to bluetooth. Would have been happier if DRL was included in the PRO.

Hala! Hindi ba standard ang DRL sa lahat ng CX-5? Kung walang DRL, what's flanking the headlights?

Finally got a solid answer from Mazda Philippines mismo. I sent them an email and they replied the same day. Here's their response to my question:

Dear Ryan,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Adaptive cruise control for the CX-5 is
not available in our market. The ones on the CX-5's available here are of
the "regular" type.

We hope this clarifies matters regarding this feature.
