Me Dealer's Incentive ba sa Mazda?
To CX5 owners, what gasolina do you use?
I read in the manual that for PH the 2.0 Pro and AWD 2.5 “perform best” with regular unleaded 90 octane or higher.
I’m wondering if
- using premium (eg Petron XCS or Shell 95) would harm the engine
- using premium would show a perceptible improvement in performance (power, smoothness).
I am inclined to use premium because of a a positive experience using XCS in a previous gen CRV.
Any thoughts/experiences on the CX5 would be appreciated.

All of them are fill up method excluding the Baguio measurement. I relied on the dash FAC readings though I find them very accurate naman. Mine is. Si Cocoboy is gas. I've gotta try that! There's this road alum going to Infanta. Non stop curves and winding road. Mabuti hindi ka bitin sa shifting in automatic mode? Ako medjo bitin ako so after 2 weeks of getting the feel of the gears, I can maximize the manual mode. It's a whole new ballgame in manual mode. No more latency issues with the shifting.
Incidentally did you guys know that our automatic Tammy also has a learning curve in reference to our method of driving?

The ECU is adaptive.
For even more fun, you can hook up paddles like I did the M2, but gotta get a steering wheel back cover that accomodates paddles to fit the new CX steering. A calculated guess would be the 2017 BN 3's steering back cover. Other parts needed shown below.

I did a minimal research on that too! [emoji1] Its been done nga with Mazda 3 and the gen 1 CX-5. I haven't driven a paddle shift aggressively before so it's faster to shift using those. Will the 1st gen CX-5 or the 2017 M3 paddle shifter fit?

They should fit....you'll just need the new back cover w/ slots for paddles that would mate to the new steering wheel design. Looking at both the 2017 BN3 & your CX, they seem to share the same wheel. The paddles look the same as the 2014-16 BM3, too.
