Should i wax a brand new car asap? I also bought a water proof car cover cost 350 php sa lazada, di naman pala water proof

I'll just enjoy stock 16s muna, newbie driver pa naman ako though i've driven to paranaque to manila back and forth already.
Tamang OC is a good start. Why need a cover? Car isn't garaged? Covers aren't really protection & can do more harm than good. Wax & coatings provide you paint protect from the elements & a bit of abrasion resistance. Let justdiy guide you here.
In my case, mutation started way before the car's arrival. A new set of wheels & tires greeted BlackMouth upon delivery. I really couldn't bear the 16s..... It's not you, it's me. Hahaha Immediately after, the relocator protype was conceived....
Enjoy the Mown3rship, squidol sir. Be 1 w/ the 3. Be conscious of wheel-curb/bumper lip-park stop proximity & ramp approach angles always.
1 tip to keep you off that slippery slope....Try to keep the mod expense w/in the difference of the 1.5 & 2.0....if you can.
    Best of luck!!!!

Who wouldn't drool with Ava, King?

Well since you're all for white, I'd say silver is better than "The Best". This silver might do justice here. Haha. I kid. But nothing beats the soul red. Lol.

One of the best Mazda 3 Skyactiv shot I have ever seen. But it looks more of white there than silver. =)

His car isn't garaged and I think it's better if he will cover than exposed. But agree that covers will cause minute scratches that could accumulate to swirls. Hehehe

Also agree about being conscious of the car's height and distance from normal curbs and always being careful of ramps whether steep or not. Hehe.

Before entertaining/endorsing the Sky tuning temptation, please ask the Mown3rs who had been there, thinking realized dreams, only to wake up to nightmares of pesky recurring CELs & iStop troubles. Most, if not all, ended up in the bin. I hope these issues have been sorted.
SkyActivs aren't your regular combustion engine where piggybacks can work seamlessly. Others have seen tuning success thru MazdaEdit ECU access for much less, w/o dangling hardware.
    Good luck to the adventurous.....

I'm pretty sure Speedlab did its homework. Its hardly your run of the mill backyard/streetcorner operation. Yes its expensive, but AFAIK, they have a ~4 hour graceperiod for tuning and dyno. If after ~4 hours and the car won't tune, they will stop and put back everything to stock. The "no splice" makes it easier to put it back like nothing happened.

I never mentioned them, nor said anything about backyards nor streetcorners.
Endorsements must be responsible. Please ask the many Sky Mown3rs who've had it. Homeworks, well done & in-depth, can miss the mark. This might be more a compatibility issue than skill & expertise.
I honestly hope they've all been sorted.

I remember Speedlab posting on their FB page looking for SkyActiv guineapigs in exchange for discounted parts and installs. Maybe this is the result of the "casting call".

Yatta, let me just speak from experience on behalf of the rest of the Mazda 3 Skyactiv owners who underwent this Unichip upgrade which turned into a HEADACHE. A 100% failure. All units at the end, mine included, had their Unichips removed. After all the tunings done with the Unichip, it turned out to be a lemon. Let us save our brothers and sisters from this burden. The authority on Skyactiv tuning in the US, Orangevirus tuning, said that the Unichip is great for about 95% of engines in the market but sadly the Skyactiv mill falls under the 5%. We gave SpeedLab a chance to sort this out over a 2-month period. Nothing good came out of it. Expertise aside, SpeedLab was removed from the Mazda 3 Skyactiv Club for how Sidney handles issues. I am trying to create a partnership between Orangevirus and a local tuning shop like Staunch Performance to give our beloved Skyactivs a brighter future in terms of performance. Just to give you an idea who I am, check out this month's issue of Top Gear in The Garage/Show-Off section. Another member of our group who also ended up letting go of Unichip bagged a pretty solid award at the recent Manila Auto Salon. Let's not let the calloused arrogance of Sidney set us back. If you want more details please reach me at 0917-942-6935. I'll gladly share all technicalities of this screw up.
