I also raced with a 1.5 , in a straight line i left it by 1 car length and could not leave him (hayop yung 1.5 ) off the line almost even (mas magaan yung 1.5) power is not always better . The 2.0 though will have an easier time as you dont have to rev that hard and top end speed is higher than the 1.5 (210-217+ depende nalang kung gaano kalaki bayag mo ) but we dont drive that fast normally. So in the end its up to you and how you drive , also if your planning to set up the difference in price can set up your car for sure , if you need more power you can have that done too (though limited yung mods as of now)

Have the same sentiments. I also drive the 2.0 and as much as I like the overall package, i-stop sucks and the complete waste of an engine if you drive in the city most of the time. And maybe even after numerous hours saved by i-stop, it will equally offset with the cost of the battery. But this might impact the longevity as the stop start process.

Also Note that LED DRLs and Tail lights are non serviceable, you might have to replace the whole assembly instead of a bulb on the 1.5.

forgot the lights nga pala hehheheheheheeh also heavy traffic consumption is higher (i hit 8-9 l/km) manila traffic most of the time 8 but kung carmaggedon 7 (which is not bad for a 2.0

Oh crap, nalito na ako bigla on which one to get hahaha I like the overall package of the 2.0 (leather seats already, and the rims are okay na for me, plus the additional drl, sunroof, etc), but based on your feedback, is the 1.5 better value? Also, to confirm, the 1.5 uses a normal battery right?

Speaking of i stop. can you just turn it off or on while driving? Or do you still need to restart the engine? In a stop and go traffic it would be annoying to keep activating it especially if you only have to stop for like 6 secs.

But I'm planning na mag drive pa-province this time. May mga LTO officer ba sa mga major highway like NLEX/SLEX/SCTEX? Ma aadvise nyo rin ba na tumuloy pa rin ako sa pag drive ng M3 ko even wala pa akong ORCR? Salamat po in advance

You can turn it off any time (there is a button that you press for 2 seconds to turn off) but turns on automatically when you turn off and start the car again. If you want it off all the time put your thermostat at max cool and the car will not turn the istop on (ever) but once you heat up the thermo or put the temp hotter than max cool the istop will re engage

Its better to have , but provincial cops dont really mind private vehicles , if you have the sales invoice and the name matches your licence i dont think it will be a problem as you are also registered in your casa

Even if my sales invoice' 7-day validity is already expired? you think I-hohonor na rin nila yun? Regarding going to province, Im not worried sa provincial cops, I'm actually more worried na baka sa mga toll-gate, may mga LTO na nagbabantay then check my registration.

Thanks sir marcyaptinchay for the quick response

I think you can still use normal battery for the 2.0 but dont expect the istop function to work.
