I am guessing you have not tried using the kick down switch?. It is ADDICTING!. Mazda sales agents should include it in their sales pitch. =)

Hi Vinrem, I was also wondering about the acceleration of the 1.5V hatch, and your feedback was encouraging. I read from somewhere that the acceleration of City 1.5 is stronger than M3 1.5V. For me, not bad na ang acceleration ng City 1.5 , so if anyone can confirm that they are more of less the same. On spec, the torque of the M3 is 144 compared to the city 137. Although 8 HP more ang City to the M3. Hot Hatch, about the Kick down switch, you are referring to paddle shifting right? Thanks guys.

Most new ATs have a kickdown switch on the accelerator pedal that is activated when it is floored. It forces the tranny to downshift for added acceleration.

I haven't drove the Honda city kaya I can't compare it with our M3, 1.5 don't have paddle shifter only 2.0 lng yata. Yung kick down shift refers to the accelerator.

JohnM is correct about the kick down switch. Press the accelerator fully until you feel a snap, that is the kick down switch. It is like a nitro boost of acceleration that is useful when overtaking or just having fun on straight roads.

    Congrats in advance sir!!

Unfortunately, wala pa OR/CR na available. Wait for atleast a month to be sure, wala pa kase ako nabalitaan na 1 week pa lang eh available na agad ang OR/CR.

Question regarding I stop, yesterday I drove my mz3 for about 20-30minutes, for the whole duration of the trip, the I stop didn't activate, is this normal or should I bring my car to the Mazda dealer to check?

If you set temperature setting of aircon too low, i-stop will not engage.

To those who replaced their 16" to 18", did you also replaced your spare tire size?

    Thanks in advance.
Nope. And oh, 2.0 target mo sir? Inquire na asap dahil sobrang limited ng dating nito up to this day, especially on hatches.

Not possible to replace spare tire dahil donut tire lang ang kasama.

A/C was at 15deg setting, mainit kasi sa labas (39 degrees)

If that's the case sir testament, what if you're in a 18" wheel and then nag ka flat ka, can you still use the 16"?

Its a must when one experience a flat tire the driver should maintain same size for all 4 tires at all time

Outer diameter of tires 16"-19" must be identical or close. That's why as rim diameter increases, tire wall height decreases. This is to maintain speedo accuracy. So no issues w/ donuts.

Well... aside from the fact that i am happy with the quiet & comfortable tires and I want to see first how it looks once the lowering kit arrives. But at the back of my mind, am also thinking that it's not practical to keep two sets when most of the time car is mainly used for city driving. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!
I've decided that i am not keeping the OE18s. PM me should anyone be interested. Thanks.

Here is the picture of my white MZ3, made in Changan factory here in China. I haven't installed tint pa kasi kailangan pang kunan ng picture ng China vehicle bureau for my license plate and vehicle registration. After that I can install tint na.
