Thank you brah! Though I still have to test drive the car with the rack and bike attached to know if there will be some wobbling/wiggling of the rack. Bad thing is, its rainy season already!

I remember the days back when the wetter, the riskier, the wilder, the better.....for endless offroad climbs & kamikaze downhilling, I mean....Hahaha.
That bravado is now nowhere to be found.
You guys may not remember when the net was yet to be fashionable....had to scour & comb bikeshops of the Bay area & Marin county, the origin of MTB, on foot for bike parts & racks as nothing worthy could be had here...I still have that strapless Yakima (SUV spare tire mount) bike rack as souvenir in my parts bin.
Your rack will do just fine, brah.

Hey brah James wassup?! Got back from a very nice trip from where you reside! Well, that's good to know that there's already an SRI for 1.5s. Sadly i'd have to wait for the drop ins though. Might go for different mod route before the not so hobo intake. Still waiting for my Prokits. Had I known DK Midas will sell her H&Rs, i might have bought it instead.

Oh, Midas selling H&Rs for coilies, I'm guessing? A lot of takers, even you had dibs.
Good 1.5 drop ins may take a while or never come. K&N, at present, only has 2.0/2.5G & 2.2D out. We'll have to find out if the M2 airbox shares the same filter size.
And yes, JohnM bro, that intake hits both looks & function....sadly, it'll be ironic to go all out for our hobo 1.5..... hahaha

I hear ya bro. My hobo 1.5 is a daily driver that just happens to look good and puts a grin on my face anytime

Problem is as of now the driver's seat is set up according to my wife's preference. She took it out on her normal daily route last week with me riding shotgun to get a feel of things. Looks like I'll be relinquishing my throne soon and drop back to my even more hobo 1.3 :consoling2:

Reason I can't be an air advocate:
-It complicates a simple & practical daily.
-reliability/durability is suspect on 3rd world roads.
-costliest among suspension options.
-maintenance
If it were a show car, that's a different story. In my book, I set a direction & a fixed fraction of the car's cost for mods. That's it....
Midas might just hibernating, I reckon. In the world of moddin' & beyond, tastes vary & we all should go the direction of where ours would take us.
