    Hi guyz,

Had my Mazda 3 for over a month and been waiting for my plate number thus she usually sits on the garage with barely 600kms on the odo.

Had a call from Mazda Alabang and told me that i should have brought my car for the 1000kms check up even it hadn't reach such mileage…anyhow, they are now asking me to pay P375 for late service…

    anybody experienced such issue?

it's not the money but the "force imposition" of mileage check ups.

^You're supposed to bring it in for the first 1000 km or 1 month (whichever comes first) PMS. Not sure about the late fee, but I was informed by Mazda North Edsa to religiously follow the PMS schedule, otherwise Yojin3 might be void.

Yojin 3 is given free but with certain conditions. Your SA should have explained them thoroughly when they delivered the unit

Those who installed their plates, yun rear nyo ba ginamit nyo ba yun lto bolts?

Trying it out kanina and medyo its a tight fit barely 3mm screwn in palang. Im afraid to force it baka mabali agad yun hex head and maiwan na mga 20mm unscrew.

Check mo ang treads ng trunk. Most likely may pintura yan kaya masikip.

Trick w/ deflorations, best to lube 1st before screwing.
.....Wait, wait, wait.....that dint sound right.....I'm talking plate bolts here. Ok?:D
Prime with a standard plate bolt, not the LTO 1s just yet....
Those are for the next round....

Hope I was clearly understood there. I mean no foul.

You really want cruise, Testa brah? Hmmmm.
    Saw 2 options out....
    A. Aftermarket Rostra Hardwire Kit that involves soldering & drilling.
    Watch here:

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=I7NoO2Duvtg

    B. That OEM kit + reconfiguration & cruise activation.

    https://youtu.be/up8ROquchS0

How? Here's a sample of UK variant recon:

Activate cruise control (On European VIN JMZBM42A8311xxxxx)
    You will need:
    1. File ASBuilt your car.
    2. File ASBuilt similar car, but with cruise control.
    3. Access to original IDS scanner.

    To start:
Open file ASBuilds in any text editor.
1.Copy in file ASBuit car with cruise control your data: VIN and checksum.
    2. Check identity of dashboard (IC it is 720). These data should be identical!
    3. Copied different digits of VIN number
    4. Changing checksum. Checksum calculated by formula: Sum digits of VIN number. VIN position13+VIN position14+VIN position15+VIN position16+VIN position17+210 = 230 (BIN) or E6 (HEX) (for Example, for VIN JMZBM42A831123663 it will be 2+3+6+6+3+210 = 230 (DEC) or E6 in HEX. Where 210 is a constant number for VIN JMZBM42A8311xxxxx.
WARNING: formula only for VIN JMZBM42A8311xxxxx !!!

Now, in all honesty, I haven't any clue how to do the above....any hackers here?

Both are pretty involved....so there......the so called Plug N Play.

Well, the 3rd option will be to just have those cruise buttons. Period!....No wiring, No reconfiguration....Just bling!

Oh my, kinda complicated hahaha! Nope, just asking if it is plug and play. Besides, we can live without cruise control and the Mz3 is not the kind of car, for me, to have a cruise control function. It is meant to be driven by a driver and not by a computer

Just as I thought, brah. Haha...I even threw away the multi-function steering wheel w/ cruise in my other car & opted to swap in an old school 3spoke.:D
Cruise in traffic jams & river roads? Nah...no, thanks. Hahaha.

Nothing as sweet as a can of worms about to open, this is not your usual ho-bolt-on from Orangevirus Tuning: 🐛🐛🐛
"Alrighty Skyactiv Folks... We know we were a little delayed on our Skyactiv turbo kits. But we are very excited for their soon release! We now have (5) Turbochargers specifically selected to suit the Skyactiv engine for what it does best, produce insane amounts of low end torque!.
We're looking to turn the Skyactiv engine into what the Focus Ecoboost does. Lots of torque, immediately!
Stay tuned for our limited, OVT Only, BorgWarner EFR Skyactiv Turbo kits here soon."

No disrespect to Mat & OVT. On the contrary, hats off to the guy for being on top of his game, esp. w/ SkyActiv tuning.....
My personal take? It's premature, firstly, to pull the sheets off when the CX9 Turbo Sky is about to debut. That blueprint can be a very good basis or comparison for what OVT has on the table....& we know OVT really tunes well.
I've known of traumatic conversion builds seeing magical numbers in torque & horses, but sadly, in exchange for reliability. These cars are mostly daily drivers where practicality, efficiency, reliability rule.
Secondly? Why not wait for Mazda's industry-leading warranty to expire first? Better than to risk finding your sick kodo w/o yojin....
Jumping a healthy ship just doesn't make sense to the hobo me.
Forced induction on the Sky engine has been much anticipated not only for the expected ooooomph to zoomzoom, but also for real-life answers to questions on high compression, forced induction & their resultant behavior....the short & long of it. Mazda has thought, dug long & hard on this....And everyone, including the big Euros, are watching... waiting.

Mistake me not, kirito brah....I'm like you, thrilled & pumped!!!!....but I intend to remain a hobo bystander than think guinea & jumping yojin. Hahaha
