Assuming that there's no heavy traffic? Marcos highway will be the fastest route.

There are no street lights along the new alternative road so don't take that route at night.

This new route has narrower curves but is paved all the way. In case your car bogs down (flat tire or mechanical problem), help is a long way as it is a fairly new road and less people are still using it...

I drove my Mazda 3 along the alternative route 2 days ago. My passengers got a bit dizzy after driving through a couple of curves along the route. I personally enjoyed tackling the curves though. There are few steep uphill curves compared to Marcos highway.

Towards the end of the route before reaching BenCap Museum, there are two narrow tunnels. The first one is narrower than the second tunnel. Cars coming from the opposite direction will have to yield if there are cars going through the first tunnel.

Baguio to La Trinidad? Oo naman. Paved all the way. Unless punta ka sa farm area ng La Trinidad.

    Traffic ang mas consideration siguro.

Super lapit lang ng Baguio to La Trinidad. It's just like going from Makati to QC. All paved of course, and any car can handle it.

Agree on this. It is about 30 kms from baguio proper, about 1 hour drive

Mas mabilis baguio to la trinidad than makati to fairview
