I drove to Baguio 2 weeks ago. Yes, still no service stations on SCTEX and TPLEX.
I was in SCTEX-TPLEX toll plaza at around 8 am, a Friday. I did not experience traffic build up there. I guess it might be different on a Saturday morning.

hmmmmm
ang gawain ko na kasi lalu na kung gabing gabi na e mc arthur hiway (manila north road) ako dumadaan. then enter sctex either tarlac city or luisita. kung minsan kahit sa concepcion nako. sa oras lang ako talo pero nasubukan ko na konsumo ng krudo. almost the same. nakakaantok kasi sa akin yung tplex at sctex. e most of the time mag-isa lang kasi ako bumibyahe.
pero kung long weekend, who knows baka kagaya ng trapik sa toll gates last year magmula nlex hanggang tplex. andaming private cars. kaya after that, tuwing may bakasyon e iwas ako sa expressway. di bale nang mas mabagal sa old route, maari pako huminto sa gas stations any time i want.
tsaka wala na rin masyado traffic sa urdaneta kung gabi.

Malayo ang Binalonan Exit. Mas mabilis mag Exit/Entry sa Urdaneta kung pa/galing Baguio.
