How far is the entry of this road from the end point of TPLEX?

One time I drove up to Baguio alone at night. Between Marcos Highway and Kennon Road, I chose Marcos Highway.

While Kennon Road is faster, it has sharper turns (mas nakakahilo) and is (relatively) uninhabited. If my Hilux goes over a guardrail or something, help will be harder to come by...

    From the DPWH map:

Rosario junction (junction before kennon road) going to Pugo junction (to marcos highway) = 14 km

Pugo junction going to Anduyan junction (to new alternate road) = 5 km

The alternate road's entry to Baguio is at Asin road. This road can be a good option for those who like to visit BenCab museum which is along Asin road.

Kennon is not that bad in terms of turns. You can still be aggressive going up and down Kennon road when the weather is fine. Kennon road is an easy 30-minute ride going up or down.

I might try this road when the opportunity arises that I go up to Baguio. Let's see how fast will it take me to go up and down on the same road.

No trucks and buses because they can't get through those 2 tight tunnels [emoji14]

Sa mga riders, ingat lang especially sa mga blind curve at intersections. Mag menor.
Your next turn maybe your last. Paki share if you care.

So all things considered (Marcos Highway is shorter than the new road; the new road has no trucks and buses), which is the fastest way to Baguio coming from TPLEX? I'll be staying at Leonard Wood Rd. and will be going up on a weekday afternoon. Thanks.

Easiest way to go to baguio from manila
