Kaya ng GS, with a driver like you, kayang kaya. Di naman sya katulad ng Ligaya drive.

Yes, option sya sa routes, which is actually 4 minutes longer than Marcos Highway and 5 kms longer sa destination ko, but i chose this kasi mas lesser traffic.

Fogs? Oo, medyo hindi pa safe sa foggy day and night drives, hindi pa ganun kaganda if i compare sa Kennon and Marcos Highway.
Oh yeah... the inclines on ligaya drive feels like climbing up the roller coasteŕ tracks for the initial big drop! [emoji33]

    Yup.

Going back, i took Marcos Highway from BenCab Museum, we had brunch there. Going up via Marcos Highway is still pain in the a**.

Left Bencab at 11am, arrived here at BGC 3pm.

Just saw and talked to a Tucson owner earlier, nag overheat bago umakyat ng Naguilian, galing daw Manila, took Tuba-Asin Road, nabigla daw sila sa kalsada, ayun, overheat [emoji51]

Most likely may issue yung tucson, pwedeng may maliit na butas yung turbo hose, common sa tucson. Last month 2015 tucson gamit ko sa roadtrip namin ni misis sa baguio to sagada then bontoc to banawe then back to baguio via the aritao-ambuklao road, walang kahirap hirap.

Since Kennon Road is still close, i took the Tuba-Asin Road, and i like it.

Roads are two lanes and relatively well paved, except for a few areas that you have to slow down because of sudden uneven roads. Lots of twists and turns, long uphill climbs and a few sharp uphill curves.

The best thing is, there are no trucks, buses. Only few vehicles are taking this route.

For the adventureous and experienced drivers, this road is a good alternative, but i don't recommend to newbies and faint hearted.

It took me 4 hours and 15 mins, from BGC to CJH.

Still Kennon Road for me, when it opens. It will save me 45 mins.
Will be in Baguio next week, eto ba yung via Anduyan bridge?

Yup. Pagdating sa mga twisty roads mejo alalay lang kasi di ganung maluwag ang daan. Mejo nahilo mga passengers ko sa mga tight curves na sunod sunod. For me, it was one of the best roads to test my car's G-vectoring control [emoji12]

Isa lang passenger ko so I'll also push my car haha.

Previously ok naman si passenger while I'm zipping sa Kenon haha.

Took this road earlier, 4 hrs from Petron Marilao to Baguio City Proper.

Halos wala palang dumadaan dito.

Good to know you enjoyed the new route hehe.

Ang hindi ko lang gusto jan sa route yung Asin tunnel. Walang traffic signal jan kung sino pwede pumasok sa tunnel. May nangyari jan dati nagkasalubungan, so meron kailangan umatras.

Mukhang maganda ang panahon sa weekend. No storm brewing up and almost no rain clouds. Kamusta Baguio ngayon? Balak ko ayain ang mag-ina ko sa weekend, overnight lang at pasyal pasyal konti. Dun ko balak dumaan sa Anduyan/Tuba route, yung bagong bukas lang last year.

    Pasingit:

Lodi RSA mentioned in his DZMM interview with Ted Failon that TPLEx final section (Rosario) will be ready and for public use by end December 2019.

Per a SMC insider, this is doable as ROW acquisition is already at 99.5%. Remaining 0.5% at Sison (beside Cojuangco Road) will be acquired real soon as well. Biggest challenge right now of PIDC is not the ROW but civil works, especially a 3-span bridge at Bobonan area.

    ---

Now, Gov't thru DPWH / NEDA ICC must fast-track TPLEx extension approval. Dadaan pa to ng Swiss Challenge which will take time.
