May 185 60 15 ba ang drb? Parang wala sa site nila. If that is the case, no choice ka sa option mo.

You cannot go wrong with either one. But, you can check online from tire gurus which one has better wet grip.

Kung 3+1 yung Neo 3 edi 10.5k lang yung apat?

I'd go for whichever is cheaper. Both are entry level tires from good companies which should serve you well for regular driving anyway.

I have bought more than my fare share of Federal Tires already for the family service vehicles. L300 FB, City i-Dsi and Toyota Revo. These were for 2 complete sets replaced already. I started buying around 2006 and had been happy with the brand.

But recently, I have been contemplating to change the shoes on my personal vehicle. Federals, if you check online as well, have good (not great) performance. They are okay for the price. But recently, in my current canvass of tires, I found their price higher than normal or what I've been used to.

Before I switched to Federals on the above mentioned vehicles, they were either using Goodyears or Bridgestones. Back then, when I chose to replace them with Federals, I was probably saving around 500 to 1000php per tire. The next set bought still had savings (I still compare to be sure) but they were not as much. around 250 to 500php per tire.

The wear on those that I bought were practically the same or slightly better than the previous shoes (based on mileage traveled) so I was happy (approx additional miles traveled before being worn out was a max 10% <-- this being for the City)

Now, I had been looking to replace by Bridgestone Ecopias with something similar (I want an Ecotire still). I don't want to stick with Ecopias because of the god awful road noise. I checked online and found Hankook Ventus, Yokohama BluEarth and Bridgestone Ecopias. But for fun, I also checked Federal to compare. Surprise to find out they also sold Hankooks now so I also got the prices.

After checking, I found the Yokohama BluEarths were cheaper elsewhere (by that I mean even with SnR was cheaper so this isn't some grey market thing). Best price I got was from Yokohama Philippines pointing me to their dealer.

So for the tires on my personal ride, I will be buying Yokohama BluEarth ES32, not AE01 (I read bad reviews on the first gen on BluEarth compound mix).

    Anyway, hope that helps.

I'm bringing this up because I personally have experienced Federal as being bang for the buck, especially if the car is mostly City Driving, wet or dry. They have also been reliable/durable. But now, the pricing has changed. So I can't personally recommend it anymore.

I'm going to use Yokohamas for the sedan and if the City needs to change shoes again, I'll compare Hankook Ventus with Yokohama BluEarths then (Sorry Bridgestone but you ain't getting my money til Ecopias change their compound mix to reduce road noise).

Neo 3 is 5k each so 15k for four tires. Yokohama db naman 14k. Good thing lang sa seller ng Toyo Neo pwedeng iswap ung old tires ko. 2k yung kuha nila. So, 13k na lang magagastos. 1k lang difference nila.

Mahal ng tires mo ah. I have 225/45R18 and I only bought my tires for 5.2k each - Yokohama Advan V701.

I would expect a decent tire for your size to be around 3k-3.5k.

Check out Yokohama BluEarth AE01, Yokohama Advan V701, Kumho Solus KH17, Toyo DRB.

My past few sets of tires have also been cheaper - Achilles 2233 for 3.3k per tire and Kumho Ecsta LE Sport for 5.5k per tire. These are 18s ha.

Sa 5k per tire for 15" makakabili ka na ng Michelin Pilot Sport 4 - the best performing all-rounder road tires you can buy right now.

Not bad na din. Halos magkaprice lng except sa Achilles.
    Yokohama db - 3.5k / 14k for 4 tires w/ free alignment
Toyo Neo - 5k each but with 3+1 promo kaya 3.75k for 4 tires.
    Achiles 2233 - 2.5k
    Kumho Ecowing - 3.2k
Pass muna Michelin, 15k lang approved budget ni misis.

Would personally go for the Toyo than the Yoko dB but both are equally decent entry-level tires.

Why would I spend 15k if I can the same performance and quality for 10k? I can save that 5k for something else - gas, toll fees, PMS, etc.

Personally I don't mind paying extra for tires since they're the most important consumable of a car. I've had the Achilles 2233 before and I go for OEM-level tires now.

You wanna risk getting into an accident, even a minor one, for 5k?

Sure, at brand new it might perform the same as OEM. But, after 30k, 40k? After 3 years?

Jut used the Achilles 2233 before on normal roads and the track. I bet he drives more aggressively than you. He didn’t get into any accidents with such tires. A few others have used such a tire model and I don’t think they will recommend it to others if the model is not performing well.

I use Accelera tires on my Fiesta which I got for less than 3k each and I am not a tame driver. 19k km on such tires and I still find them better than the stock Hankook Optimo.

Just because they are cheaper does not mean they are not up to the task. Indonesian brands (Achilles, Neuton, Accelera, and GT) have proven their worth. If budget is not a concern, then I will get Bridgestone or Michelin.

For most people who don't drive all-out, reputable budget tires like the Achilles 2233 will do.

Mine lasted for 42,000 km, and as Egan said, that included the track. However, it wasn't a very good track tire - look at the wear on the outer edge of the tread after a track day:

My Kumho Ecstas and current Yokohama Advans have also been tracked yet did not wear like that.

For smaller tire sizes (16" and below), the difference between budget brands and more reputable brands is minimal so it doesn't hurt the wallet much to go for the better tire.

If I'll be getting 1 or 2 tires, mataas yung price nila. But since 4 naman and may promo na 3+1, pwede na. They offer swapping of old tires for 2k kaya 13k na lang total damage. TireShakk

I might not be confident with the brand (no offense). Although have seen positive feebdack in this forum. Anyway will be using it 4 to 5 years kaya sulit na din yung 5k difference.

    3. Nexen - 11K
    4. Kumho - incoming stock next week

Will be replacing 4 tires next week. 185 60 R15. Thanks!
For Vios ba yan? My Yokohama db didn't age well sa Vios ko. 2 years lang nagamit nung one time nag long distance drive ako pag uwi ko parang kinalmot ni wolverine gulong ko. End up replacing with Kumho Kh17 185/65 na kinuha ko

Will be replacing tires of my Starex.

Low budget yet good quality tires
