Experts and gurus how many years po ba talaga life ng tire? Bagong bili ko lang kasi 2004 REVO ko nong December 2013 sabi ng binilhan ko bago daw gulong so nakita ko naman bago nga dahil makapal pa as in brand new talaga ang kapal nya. International nga e iba-iba tatak 2 goodyear isang yoko at isang japan yata T-surmax ba yun. Pero nong binusisi ko i discovered the manufactured date ang pinaka matagal was 2003 pa so almost 11 years na sya pero twice na akong tumakdo sa SLEX in 100kmh ok naman. any comments?

ang recommended ata ay 5-6 years from date of manufacturing. kahit kasi hindi ginagamit lumulutong ung goma.

Kung may mahahanap ka ng "HAIDA" bought Sept2010 replaced only this month Jan2014. Kaya lang wala na akong makita. ( Used it in my Advie )

sirs Westlake gamit ko ngayon 3.5 yrs na din. More than 40k na din tinakbo. Sulit na din. Pero palitin na. Ok naman westlake medyo maugong lang gusto sana try itong Durun a-one. Medyo tight ang budget kaya china tires lang option ko. Any comments sa Durun? thanks

Just ordered a pair of Achilles ATR2 245/35 ZR20 tires to replace a pair of my Accelera 235/35 R20. Thanks to a shitty motorcycle, I had to swerve to avoid his overspeeding and I hit a drainage gap (ganda lang ng kalsada natin) aside from denting my rims, my tires suffered moderate-severe damage and resulted in a big crack. Actually, isa lang kilangan ko but I figured to replace it by pair nalang. Since purchasing a new set would be prohibitively unnecessary (90% tread life pa Accelera ko).

As a shameless plug, may kilala kayo may 235/35 R20 tire? I'm looking just for one tire. Tried looking around Banawe and wala na nagpaparating. Already called the distros of Achilles, Westlake, Accelera, etc. and wala talaga nagpaparating. I wonder kung meron si Hankook...

Hahaha, already saw them actually. But I'm getting the ATR Sport2 at a very good price na.. since the reseller margin is quite minimal in my case. First is because close circle of friends ko yun reseller and second kilala ko yun distributor talaga as I've met him before sa Trans-Sport Show Manila.

As for the pricing, I got mine at around Php5,600 each for 245/35 R20s with free balancing pa :naughty2: I'll try to ask tomorrow kung ililibre din ba nila alignment ko sa FixStop :naughty2:

I will suggest you go for the ATR Sport2 over the ATR Sport. Main difference is on the center grove design that displaces more water. Very nice especially if you're particularly worried of hydroplaning. It gives me more assurance when I'll be doing short 180km/h on SCTEX (alam mo naman yun feeling ng wide open road haha) while raining

How was the performance of the accelera? Was seriously thinking of getting this before settling on dunlops lm703. The price gap for 235 50 18 was was significant at 6800 for the dunlops vs 4000 for the accelera. I was able to buy 14" accelera eco plush tires and ok naman so far. Kaya im intrigued with buying a set of 18" accelera's for my other car

+1, using 5 tire rotation extends the life of the tires. Then use the least worn tire as spare.

Ah. Hindi kasi sinasama yung spare ko sa rotation nung mga last pms ko sa toyota. Unless it is by customer request.

Kung gamitin ko siguro yung almost new na spare as 4th tire and just buy 3 pcs., may mura kayang goodyear gt3 14s.

Ang ginagawa ko dyan, pag time to replace the 4 tires and the spare is not used, bibili muna ako ng isa para kapares ng spare. Ilalagay ko sila sa harapan. Select one of the best used tires for the spare.

Few months later, bibili ulit ako ng dalawa. Ilalagay ko na ulit sa harapan.

Since one of my upgrade options is to change rims and tires, the spare stays as it is. I just check on the inflation from time to time, and especially before road trips.

I commonly rotate every 10t kms such that all 4 tires have similar wear. Downside is almost forced ka to replace all 4 tires at the same time. Ang maganda lang is kung mag-upgrade to a different wheel and tire set, having 4 tires with even wear will be easier to sell than having 2 tires thinner than the others.

No personal feedback, but since Wheel Gallery is pushing it as a cheaper alternative, I would assume they've done their research.

Having said that, they might not be as cheap as Westlake, which is so far the cheapest I've seen that's holding up in terms of performance.

how about if changed 4 tires from 195/65 R15 to 205/65 R15.. do i need to replace the spare tire also? 205/65 is just 0.5 inch taller than 195/65. the 195/65 spare tire still relatively new and remains unused.
