Yes, Federal is made in Taiwan. Nankang as well. No experience with Federal, but Nankang is good enough. Definitely much better quality as compared to mainland Chinese brands.
We use GT Classiro for the Revo. Ride comfort is good but grip is a bit lacking. At 24tkms, the front tires have worn down pretty quickly. I've now rotated them.

For people with Vans like Starex, Grandia and the likes. What tire would you recommend? I'm currently using Westlake 215/70/16 and it seems (at least for me) the life span is a little short. It has 30k kilometers and maybe another 5k or so in its life. To me, I should get at least 50k. The OEM tires (Goodyear) on my Adventure did 75k before I replaced it. How much mileage do you get on your tires?
Because I want to avoid buying China made tires, I ran into these made in Turkey tires. Price is reasonable at P2,900 for 185 60 R15. It is Petlas Imperium.
Westlake seems to provide the best bang for buck in tires for my Revo & Getz, though my kumpare swears by Aeolus tires for his Sta Fe
