hi cocojam.

open the glove compartment then you will see on both sides the plastic brackets held by a rubber or string of some sort which you can slide outwards to release the upper portion. then to take out the lower portion, just pull out the lower portion of the glove box towards you. when the glove box is out, the filter holder is easily seen and can be taken out easily. this is how i saw it when i had it taken out for cleaning at the KIA shop.

Got to remove the glove compartment. Problem is, the air/pollen filter needs to be replaced already though its been just about a year old so far. Anyone knows where I can buy 1?

It is not possible to replace it with a commercial grade filter often used in some aircon and available in Handyman or Ace Hardwares? Try to bring the sample. Also, HYBRID Banawe +639155142775. They specialize in Korean brand parts and accessories.

Actually, this is the 3rd time I will be replacing the filter in a span of 3 and a half years since I bought the Sorento. Im just curious why it gets clogged up so easily when the pollen filter of my Opel Astra lasted about 3 years before I replaced it. Was thinking of perhaps converting the existing filter to use the 3M pollen filter element available for home airconditioners. That is if I cant find a cheaper and longer lasting filter.

In fact my aircon is always on so I dont put down my windows. I tried vacuuming the filter as well and despite that, mahina pa rin buga ng aircon. The 3rd speed feels like nasa 1 lang.

siguro Sir kailangan na po palinisin ung aircon. Kasi ung saken pinalinis ko na ung saken at napalitan na ung thermostant ko kaso convert it to manual kasi ung saatin is digital. sa makati lang ako nagpagawa

Hi all, Hi JP,

I just replaced my rear cargo door hydraulic lifters yesterday and had my fuel filter also replaced... With the high price of the new Sorento, it seems that I will be extending my stay w/ my Trusty 2005 Sorento after all...

The truth is you're the 3rd person already who showed interest in buying my Sorento. The first one is my uncle, second is a guy who put a sticker with his phone number asking me to call him if I'm selling my Sorie. Anyway, I'll wait for the 2010 Diesel Sorento and see if I can afford it

Sir its a red 2-tone plate ending 858 and yes being sold by Kia. Totoo ba na kahit nakapangalan sa CAC kami pa rin ang technically ang 1st owner?

ser mikmik315, mukhang ok na yung presyo at Php1.05M as long as u get the 3 or 5years Warranty..... (pero try to insist on the 5years although for 2009 models lang ata nila intended yun)....

oo from Kia's point of view, dapat ikaw yung first owner.... pero technically, ur the 2nd. owner na....pero it shouldn't be an issue.

Sir Parakito we got the remaining warranty hanggang Sept. 2011 ang guaranteed warranty. The 5-year warranty started last June 2009 lang and for the 2009 models lang nila. I think ok na rin yung 2 years may peace of mind na rin kami.

Already placed a down and kukunin na namin Thursday morning! Sana di na eto mausog gaya nung nangyari sa Rexton II...

+1 here mura na yung 1.05M 4x4 pa CRDi naman eh *6k of usage only
