Haha! Medyo may konting negotiating talent lang pre
Besides, end of the month talaga maganda kumuha ng sasakyan dito kasi makikipag bargain sila sayo para umabot sa monthly quota.
Anyways, here's my 2015 Kia Sorento SX in regency red metallic aka "Scarlette"
Side view with my wife and baby boy

*sorentouser; yup same cabin (aircon filter) as well as engine Air/ Oil/Fuel filter with SF. Pero dapat match mo generations. Yung 2010-2012 XM Sorento w/ SF2.5; Thereafter na Sorento with SF3 naman. Lalo na engine air filter humaba yun...

Question on the stock alarm. Wala ba talagang tunog ito when activated? Para kasing glorified remote door lock lang eh. Also does it work on vibrations or kailangan forcibly open the doors para mag-alarm? And last question, does it even sound the alarm?
Kasi even the cheapest car alarms from Banawe can do more.
Saken kapag ni-double press mo yung lock button sa keyfob, it will lock all doors, fold the side mirrors and engage the alarm. Single beep with a single flash of the signal lights as you press the lock button. So pressing twice means two beeps din.
Hindi sya mag-aalarm kung vibrations lang. Kelangan break-in entry thru any windows or the lock inside is opened whilst the sorento is in 'locked' state.
Yes, do this to test your alarm:
1. Roll down fully your driver's window.
2. Lock the car arming it.
3. If you have a keyfob, be sure its not with you; try opening the driver's door from the inside.
sino na po nag pa install ng oem steering wheel volume control?? dali lng ba mag install nyn??

i have a 2004 4x4 MT Sorento with 250k kms
The only parts that have failed are wear items and hoses. The EGR is clogged in ours and only the Casa knows how to clean it (as far as I know). The most expensive repair was for the clutch P40k, but yours is an automatic so that's irrelevant. Pay special care to items such as radiator hoses, ac hoses, steering hose, brake hoses. Fortunately the hoses are cheap (the radiator hoses were changed for only 2.5k from the Casa). The tailight bulbs frequently break so we always carry a spare set. We buy our parts from goodgear in Pasay. We have owned it since it had 15k kms as the previous owner could no longer drive manuals due to a hip replacement. I used it everyday going to college (live in alabang, study in ust) ad my dad would use it for long trips or offroad.
Ours is a manual and it gets around 8km/l both city and highway. When it was new, it could get 10kms per liter but thats probably due to the egr.
In a few months it will be replaced by a new sorento (or a new expedition, depending on my dad's lunacy) but we still intend to keep it.
so if its AT it would be around 7kms per liter? hmmm...a guy in paranaque wanted to swap it with my 09 vios TOTL.
now i am having second thought regarding PMS and spare parts prices and availability..sir how much would be the regular PMS of this car?
Oil change is around 3k, Its a diesel so it needs more oil. We have it done outside the casa every 7500kms.
The AT could be as efficient as the MT because the manual is low geared (2500rpm at 100kph) and first gear is actually too low and I would rather launch in 2nd if clutches werent so expensive.
Parts are still available in the Casas and Goodgear Pasay. The parts are far cheaper than an Expedition or a Forester (I know, terrible benchmarks).
But honestly, unless I really need an SUV for floods or offroad, I would not trade an almost new vios for a sorento. You arent sure if the odo has been tampered with or if that is 90k city mileage.
I would not trade an almost new vios for a sorento .... this is my deciding factor...thanks so much sir...
