sharing... di ko alam kung makita niyo as video. But its remote start/stop; auto door lock (when parked); turbo timer (90sec); door locked while engine running (smart key is outside) not shown here. 5 month in the making hirap translate ng korean and tracing the correct wire...all worth it.

Mga sir, i know that CRDI turbo engines have higher maintenance costs but should be off-set by the lower cost of diesel. If my daily mileage is very low around 10Km, would you still recommend the Kia Sorento? I really like it but I want to be practical as well. By the way, my other car is 4yrs old but with 17K Km only on the odometer.

Hindi strict ang kia sa pms. You must be thinking of hyundai. Sa kia sorento it is 5k km or 6 months. And if your mileage is low they will even recommend mineral oil that meets the engine requirements, it will be up to you if you want synthetic oil.

Sir yebo, hindi ba magiging problema in the long run ang crdi engine kung low daily mileage?

Any feedback/comments?

And syempre cool down din after a long run.

Thanks sir Yebo! Yung EGR and Intake manifold cleaning talagang part na sya ng maintenance for CRDI? May ibang way ba to prevent these parts from getting too dirty that it requires actual cleaning?

Halos parehas pala mileage natin. I have a 4 year old car na 17k din mileage hehe. For me kung practical and cost consideration mas cost efficient ang gasoline model compared sa crdi, assuming same low usage. The lower cost of diesel and added fuel economy isn't enough to offset the higher maintenance cost vs gas counterpart. I think dapat yearly around 15 to 20k ang mileage to be worth it.
But still i bought my sorento crdi for the performance it gives me. Daily driving satisfaction is priceless. In fact all my cars now are hyundai/kia crdi, even though i average 10k mileage a year divided into them (not equally though hehe). 2 revgt and 1 vgt.

Yung akin CEL din after blanking the egr after mga 300 plus kms. Pero yung other ka-sortie natin naka blank din without experiencing CEL. I was thinking ibalik uli yung blanking plate. Sa GS ko kasi ok parin until now. Sabay ko sila pina blank last year.

Baka nag ooverboost, bro, just like the Nissan ZD30. That's why it is advisable to install a boost gauge if you blank the EGR in a Nissan ZD30. Some engines don't have this problem though, like the Fortuners.

Thanks! Ang bi-weekly ko before is $335 for 5 years pero now $385 na sya 5 years din.
Okay na din deal ng bangko saken coz I got alot of freebies like 10-yr bumper to bumper extended warranty, lifetime oil changes, 2-year warranty sa windshield (here we tend to break the glass in 1-2 yrs coz of rock chips + winter conditions). 3M protection film, floor liners plus may nakuha pa kameng raffle prize na PS4

Ang kaibahan lang is SX-L has nappa leather seats, red calipers and e-Services (not available sa Canada). All other features are the same.
