Patanong din mga bros. Plano ko palagyan ng double contact na bulb - 5w/21w ung red colored na fog light housing sa ilalim ng rear bumper. Meron na bang gumawa nito? Kelangan din ba baguhin ung fuse dahil i-tap ito sa linya ng park & stop light? any other issues? Thanks in advance.

yung sa 2012 sorento ko walang bulb dun, housing lang siya. so need pa i-drill yung butas sa likod. single contact lang nilagay ko and then LED na 3W peanut bulb.

assuming na yung 21W e para sa stop light di na siguro kasi momentary lang naman umilaw pag natapakan lang ang brakes. o kaya para sure e LED bulbs ang gamitin mo, more light for less watts.

yung housing e may shape na yung para sa butas. actually nung binutasan yun e sinunod yung shape ng para sa socket, so naghanap lang yung shop ng socket para dun. di ko alam anong socket yun pero standard automotive socket siya so push and twist lang. di ko nga sure kung peanut bulb or pinned yung nakalagay. unfortunately i am overseas so di ko mababaklas to answer your question fully.

madali lang i-open yun, 1 screw lang so why not open it and see what type socket will fit. kaya nga yun i-DIY, tinamad lang kasi ako kaya pinagawa ko na lang nuon.

Mahogany Brown or White?
I'm reserved for a brown which is nice, fairly few, but drawback is it's dark at night.

White naman became better looking the more I saw white Sorento's on the road. And it may have the added advantage of my top coating it with pearl white sometime down the road.

What do you guys think?:-)

pag white dapat masipag ka maglinis. kahit covered yung parking mo dumudumi pa din. sabagay kung may wax naman lagi e madali lang linisin, wet microfiber towel lang ok na.

Sabi nung electrian, di daw pwede lagyan ng reverse camera yung current head unit ko...

So other alternative is change head unit.. Pwede ba ang pioneer x5550 sa Sorento? Kahit medyo parang curve yung harap ng current head unit ko tapos flat yung sa pioneer?

Well he never looked behind my head unit, nag base lang sya sa User manual ng head unit, nung wala sya makita about camera or something, he concluded di pwede lagyan hehehe,. Mukang need ko ng second opinion ng iba electrician tapos pasilip ko likod..

ser patmobile, kung wala nga talaga Camera input yan H.U. nyo, pero satisfied naman kayo sa tunog nya...another alternative is to install RearView Mirror w/ Display (plus auto-dimming) then project Camera to that Display...

kung di ka masaya sa tunog nya then palitan mo na din lang talaga H.U. mo...

First, hatakin mo yung bay sa ilalim.. Yung may USB and aux socket.. Walang screws yun.. Then sa ilalim, you can loosen the molding.. Naka clip lang lahat yun hanggang taas... Then exposed na yung HU

i think the 'R' just denotes for the R-series CRDi engine. so it doesn't matter if its LX or EX, as long as its using the Diesel engine should still qualify as Sorento-R.

alam mo ba kung Euro2 or Euro4 Sorento mo? yung 2010/2011 may mga halos kasi lumabas.... anyway kung Euro2 sya, ok lang Techron....don't know howtotell them apart...send pix behind your turbo.....

Ok lang naman gumamit ng euro2 diesel like caltex sa euro4 engine, mas madalas lang nga magre-regenerate ung dpf.
