    Pax lock meron na talaga nito nung nakuha ko unit ko, but i dont see a problem pag kinabit at malamang may 1 wire na kailang from pax to driver side to control locking.
    For windoww AUTO UP/DOWN unfortunately kulang ng isang wire yung naka abang sa door ng Sorento. Maliban sa switch, nagpalit pa kami ng window motor (1:1) with safety (auto RETRACT pag naka sense may naipit na object). Pag module kasi dere-deretso. So switch & motor around P4500/door ang inabot. Maganda nga project ito very useful.

    Kakalaway yung auto up/down ng window. Hehehe. So pag switch lang pinalitan hindi din gagana ang auto up?

    Ganun nga sir Spat, hindi gagana, ganun nga yung una kong ginawa, after checking ng wiring diagram nung electrician, kailangan talaga palit motor (with safety). May isang wire ang dinagdag tapos ayos na. So far, karamihan driver side lang ang nagpapa-install, 1 or 2 lang ang Driver/Pax side. Around P4500/Door ang cost to upgrade (wala pa installation).

    para di ka na maiilang sa mga naka Lexus RX350 or Mazda 6 (all new sky-activ), puede mo din palitan ganito klaseng switch ng Sorento para all four (4) windows may AUTO UP/DN. hehe.

    napalaban ng dirt road sorento ko kahapon, umakyat ng bundok ng caraballo. loose gravel and dirt with some muddy stretches, kinaya naman kahit 4x2 lang. matapang kasi may kasama akong suzuki grand vitara na hihila sa akin just in case

    ang nakakatuwa e most of the time nasa 1200-1500 rpm lang ang engine kahit uphill, and the highest rpm was only 2000 on a long 30+ degree climb. average speed was only 20-30 kph.

    pinawashing ko kanina, parang blood yung run off water nung underwash na.

    Blocked the egr tube this afternoon, lumakas ang hatak at low rpms (800-1800 rpm). Walang CEL. Still have to check if it helped in the fuel economy side. The tube is hard to get at, just at the front behind the radiator fan but under the intake manifold. Don't attempt to work on it if the engine is hot as there is a coolant tube right next to it. Will upload pic of the tube later, can't upload from tablet e.

    this is the egr tube of the sorento. i blanked it between the tube and the egr. medyo matagal at mahirap gawin kasi you need to remove the tube completely and the bolts are not very accessible. the pointed part of the tube goes into the intake manifold so it can't be blocked there as the tube protrudes into the manifold.

    - saan nakakakuha blanking plate? mukhang reliable built to last ba?
    - saan/sino gumawa?
    - ilang oras, magkano inabot?

    very interested in doing it...kasi yung Caren's ko nanghina talaga power paakyat ng Baguio early last year
    (mga 55T km na sya nun) and never pa nalinisan EGR...yun suspek ko salarin....

    Ako lang gumawa sir, diy. Took 30 minutes to remove the bolts, then i used the metal gasket as a pattern. I used a steel painter's scraper for the material. Fabrication took ~45 minutes with a electric drill and grinder. Installation took another 30 minutes. Mahirap kasi access dun sa bolts, yung tube is just under the intake manifold and right beside the radiator fan and coolant piping.

    Pinaglololoko ata ako sa Hyundai LP ah. Wala na raw tubo yun EGR ng R-eVGT engines, rekta daw yun valve which is duda agad ako. Baka ayaw lang linisin.

    Papa-check ko sa Hyundai QA naman.

    Meron sir, tube from the egr to the intake manifold. It is located at the front, just behind the radiator fan cowling/guard and under the intake manifold. It is the pipe that has the flexible connection, yung parang accordion na pipe. This tube connects the egr discharge to the intake manifold. Yung bolts connecting to the intake is 10mm hex head, sa egr is 12mm hex head.

    baka yung sabi nilang wala e yung vacuum tube ng old type egr that is solely controlled by vacuum from the manifold? wala na nga yun kasi electronic na yung egr, solenoid activated na.

    Meron, nasa right side ng radiator. Just follow the hose from the turbo outlet, it goes to the intercooler then another hose goes from there to the intake manifold.
