hi to all.

share ko lang po yung na try ko na effective way para mawala yung yellowish color ng plastic headlights ng carnival lalo na pag me kalumaan na. gamitan nyo lang mo ng Mothers plastic polisher.

nilagyan ko ng generous amount ng plastic polisher then left it to dry for aobut 20 minute tapos todo rub. ayun, nawala naman yung pagka yellow.

pro not sure kung perception ko lang yun. pero nung nakita ni misis nag agree naman sya na nag mukhang bago kasi naninilaw na before.

In my case, I used wipe-out cleaner (yes, yung white paste type na nasa can (lata) commonly used in cleaning pc's and leather materials). I thought all along na hopeless na yung driver's side headlight sa dumi until I accidentally discovered that this cleaning material can actually clean the plastic housing.

Btw peeps, the DIY thing I did on the foglamps bulb proved shortlived. After less than a minute na naka-on, the bulb fell off dahil sa init, nagmelt yung connection kahit naka-solder. . . Because of this, I ended up buying the bulb assembly with socket (philips brand) at kia pasay for almost 500 pesos.

if it's a clicking sound while turning, have the CV joints checked. usually kailangan nang i-replace yung affected side.

Pasensya na mga sirs haba na ng thread di ko na na back read lahat. Tanong ko lang kung saan makakakuha ng surplus J3 para sa 2000 Kia Carnival? Pwede ba ikabit yung N/A sa dating turbocharged na engine?

may time ulit kasi na di nag iistart ung kia...click lang ng click....batt, and everything is A-ok...
kaya ang hirap dalin nung kia, minsan di ko alam kung san totopakin...pag tinopak at di nag start, kailangan ipatulak ko para mag start :-(

the solenoid kit is connected to the starter motor itself and sir yapoy confirmed that it is the same copper plate that he mentioned in his earlier post. and btw, taga-antipolo ako at dun din ako nag-papaayos. i suppose the solenoid kit was bought in one of the auto supply stores there.

sir utakabo, marikina lang po ako..baka pwede po nyo ako irecommend dun sa pinagayusan nyo po....dayuhin ko na lang po sya....ang hirap kasi ng sitwasyon ko...minsan start minsan hinde...any contact no? tnx...

bro sa marikina ka din pala ... try mo pasilip sa rey's electrical sa tuazon . hanapin mo si ED may kulay buhok non ewan ko lang kung meron pa hanggang ngayon pero matyaga yun saka magaling trumabaho.

yung carnival ko dati (a year ago) ayaw din mag start paminsan minsan parang may toyo, yun pala may wiring sa kalooblooban na loose, na trace nya tapos after nun okey na yung van hanggang ngayon ....

yes sir marikina, actually las pinas ako just last year, lumipat na ulit kami dito sa marikina....anyways try ko din sa reys..mahirap kasi ipasilip ung kia lalo na kung wala masyado alam ung gagawa, kaya umaasa ako sa mga feedbacks nyo.....

wait ko din sagot ni sir utakbo.....

***ask ko lang ulit, kelan ba ina avail ang calibration? tnx

*celd15b, na pa check mo na ba starter mo?? napalitan na ba yung copper contacts ng starter solenoid?? if not yan muna pa check mo madali lang palitan yan.. kung hindi pa napalitan 80% yan ang culprit, another 10% could be a loose connection or loose ignition switch.. kung copper contacts ang sira you will surely hear na pumapalo yung solenoid but the starter does not trigger.. that is due to copper contacts are already wornout and cannot trigger a high current starter.. pero kung ang tunog is just similar to a "relay" sound (just like a bosch relay) possible na loose connection lang yan not triggering the solenoid
