Nakita ko lang sa netbyan beat-sonic nun nag google ako ng sharkfin antenna. Tas pinaorder ko sa contact namin sa us then bago pinadala dito sa pinas kasama ng shipment namin.

Marami silang klase, makikita mo sa site nila. Iba iba sizes at may nakalagay dun kung san fit na sasakyan

kung malaking improvement sa FC/ car's power, dream car na ang Kia Rio, issue lang is with the car's warranty, and Kia won't admit na may problem ang Kia Rio, sana nga pumayag sila to know the real problem and to have the solution sa problems ng kotse.

i agree. sobrang perfect siguro. rio hatch with the crdi engine of the accent! no more problems when it comes to power and fuel consumption. actually. this car exists! may rio diesel eh pero di nirelease sa atin. what a waste! laway laway nalang muna sa looks.

Probably starting 2016 pag euro 4 na lahat ng diesel natin dito sa pinas mag start na rin pag dating ng mga diesel powered variants sa lahat ng car segments katulad sa europe.

Kia Rio EX A/T Sedan (9mos. old) owner here.. I just want to ask if na observe niyo rin ito sa Rio niyo:

1. There is a slight negative camber on the rear wheel, (I also noticed this even nung kakakuha ko plang sa kanya sa showroom) - even their model units has a slight negative camber. Is this normal?
2. I'm using Petron XCS since day 1 and I noticed na umaamoy ung gas either while you're parked or kakapatay mo plang ng makina (you can smell it particularly near the fuel cap area). wala naman siya leak sa floor so i can't consider na may butas ung tank ko.
3. Lately I noticed na from stop, if you step on the gas pedal, may naririnig ako na slight noise coming from the engine bay (more like rattling sound), at nawawala sya once you release the pedal and the engine changed gear already. Is this what you call an engine knock? Hindi kasi ako familiar sa tunog ng engine knock.

Ano gas gamit niyo? Try Nitro+ or Nitro+ Racing. Dati may engine knock ako pag gamit ko XCS and Fuel Save.

Got a Rio Sedan AT last Dec. sobrang fustrated na din ako sa car na eto, everyday from my house to office 15km lng kayang ubusin almost Php 300, that's roughly around 6 litters, on a light traffic, feels like my fuel consumption is around 3-5 km per litter, then last weekend took it for a long drive it going to batangas, from eastwood to nasugbu Batangas (4 adult 1 kid) before it reaches 5000km, gas consumption back and fort damage was around Php 1500 via SLEX/Green field /Tagaytay/Nasugbu, road condition, no traffic to light, worst na nga Gas Consumption but what made it more even worst is hirap na hirap yung car umakyat sa bundok na dinaanan namin sa nasugbu, nasugbu plang yun what more if i'l drive up sa baguio, Verdict ko Crappy Trashy Car totally a waste of my hard earned money, Very very Disapointed with this car,

regarding the low power, have your AT transmission checked maybe its an overheating issue, Kia replaced my ATF to high heat fully synthetic ATF. result is more power and torque especially when climbing, I noticed before power starts to degrade as I keep going uphill and it was diagnosed that the stock ATF was overheating. could be this car was built on korea and not tropicalized.
Been happy with my Rio so far.

Na attract sana ako sa laki ng discount at looks at build quality ng rio.. planning to get the 1.4 M/T.. But judging from the issues raised.. parang ang dami ng issues still, from engine issues plus the FC.. from what i can see 8-9 km/L your lucky na.. kainis naman..

discouraging naman.. has Kia done anything to help owners?

i can emphatize with the frustration of the owners of this new KIA Rios. especially those who are using their cars for daily commute. lalo na kung di pa bayad. i felt the same way after a few months of owning because of high fc. instead of 100% satisfaction, 80% na lang. i still like the looks, the specs in relation to the price and the admiring glances i get from fellow motorist and some pedestrians. first time ko mag-own ng korean car. i am just wondering kung hindi hyundai engine ang kinabit at yung dati na kappa engine, mas matipid kaya although yung dating model ng rio ay malakas din sa gas according to my friend and some taxi drivers.

I have the pre-2012 model and yeah, fuel consumption is not something you will be happy about unless you are used to high fc. Masaya na ako kapag nagaverage ako ng 9kpl sa city.

Man,, Thanks for confirming it.. i have nothing against korean cars and i even believe in their commitment to make it affordable for the regular juans.. but FC is scary.. hehe.. we'll ill go look around for another car then.. guess you can't expect more of the sister accent then right?
