I think the SWB 7 seater has rails for the 3rd row, so fitting a 5 seater with a third row would be possible, but not function the same way.
Pumunta ako sa Winterpine but hindi din nila masagot kung compatible with Carnival LWB or not. Pag aaralan daw muna nila before contacting me again. Here is the phone # 716-7653 to 56, 413-6062. Try to ask them maybe you might have better luck of talking to the right person. hehe...
I do hope so din. I'll ask other installer kung may alam sila dito. Its the CODE ALARM CA-310. If someone can help research this product. I emailed CODE ALARM and they ask me to call up their technical department. Mukhang mapapa IDD pa ako. hehe...
The best thing to do would be to contact one of our Technical Assistance Representatives at 1-800-421-3209 and press the appropriate option. They will be able to better assist you over the telephone. Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern time and Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm Eastern time.

nakakainis.. paano kaya pagaaralan ng winterpine yun.. unless may test unit sila..
I talked to Bong Rosal from Columbian Motors and he informed me that Winterpine tested some upgrade module for our ex... He said that they tested two units and they worked fine. He refered to me to call winterpine and ask about it.
I called winterpine and they said that the modules they tested were out of stock.. Pinakyao daw ng UMC for their navara. They said to me that the code 310 is an option since this is a US brand versus the taiwan brand they tested.
I'll try to call again today to confirm.
Actually, you can say that for Safety's sake, you're going to be trading in your stock wheels and Korean tires for alloy wheels and Jap tires. We've had some bad experiences (i.e. blowouts, oblonged) with Korean (i.e. Kumho, Hankook) tires on our vans. You wouldn't want the same to happen to you, your family and your van now, would you?![]()
I talked to Don from winterpine, I think he is part of the development team for add-on accessories. He advised me to wait for the right upgrade alarm which is the AVT model. He said that the code 310 has no right adapter for our kia. As of now, the upgrade alarm is out of stock.. he will inform me as soon as they receive the deliveries.
Pwede po ba yung OEM alarm or anti thief? Kung wala po yung code alarm na stock why not order the OEM alarm?

if you're refering the LX variant.. no problem regarding anti-thief.. kahit 3rd party alarm system pwede. Sa EX medyo complicado ang setup because of the standard keyless entry and electronic door open features.
Yung code alarm 310, pwede kaso I was advised by Don na wala silang adapter for the said module... Kung gusto ko talaga, they would splice the wires which he does not recommend...
Yung option daw namin ay AVT, the AVT upgrade module was tested in Columbian and it worked perfectly.
since most of you here have the new carnival, do you thinks it's better than the 2002 carnival in term of reliability? We had that one and boy, its a lemon. lot's of rattles coming from the sliding door which couldn't be fix and noisy underchassis. the engine was ok. but overall you have one noisy and clunky ride. When it was new, it was smooth and refined but after a year the noises began... im leaning towards buying one but i fear it may take the same route like before. anyone using a the new carnival for quite some time may comment please...
yung 1st gen carnival / sedona was designed by KIA only and this was the time that the company was having problems financially and quality wise.
the 2nd gen carnival / sedona is a product already of kia and hyundai. so quality wise I think it is better than the previous gen... pero kung hindi ka nagmamadali, just wait for a few months...
ako, satisfied pa naman ako sa current ride ko..
carnival ako ngayon but looking at the carensmatakaw ba ang carnival sa city? what is your FC after 5000km?
