    actually nung june last year ko pa pala ito nabli so may 1 year na apala siya. Thanks for the advise. Ipupunta ko na lang dun para ipacharge. Bought it at 4,990 at kinukuha yung current battery for 500 pesos pero di ko na natrade in. Just in case, sana nga ire recharge lang. yung current battery ko malakas pa rin kahit di ko gamitin ng 2 araw.

    all the while na e experience ko pa rin yung mild hesistation pero nangyayari lang ito tuwing pa ahon o paakyat. Suspect ng casa eh baka sa clutch na. Sinabi ko na masyado ata maaga para masira agad yon pero depende din kasi daw sa driving style lalo na sa baguio na stop and go traffic. Minsan naman nararamdaman ko na parang nag iislide. Pinacheck ko na rin ang fuel filter sa likod at malinis pa. Bagong palit pa ang fuel filter sa harap nung pms.

    Bale ang pinapapalitan eh yung clutch disk, pressure plate, at release bearing..pero under observation mode pa rin sa ngayon. Medyo may kamahalan kasi nung nagpaquote ako sa casa. I will be getting a second opinion outaide of casa. Pero baka nga ito yung cause ng hesitation and it might not have anything to do with the engine.

    Planning not to have pms done at casa on my next pms, hindi ako nasusulitan e. Meron na din ba dito nagpapa service sa labas? Saan po ok? Yung may credible experience servicing crdi vehicles. Where can we buy maintenance parts for the carens:

    - oil filter
    - fuel filter
    - air filter / aircon filter

    *wavecxs, sir sa goodgear pasay po ako bumibili ng oil filter(oem), air filter at aircon filter(both replacement). yung fuel filter hindi ko pa natanong sa kanila kung meron kasi gusto ko sa casa palitan yun kasama ang egr cleaning, every 20k naman yun e so ok lang. kahit saang suking talyer lang dito sa amin ako nagpapa change oil, labor lang binabayaran ko

    Thanks sir for the tip. I'll horde a couple of filters when I got the chance and have the change oil done in caltex like we do our old cars.

    Medyo concern ako about dmf and clutch disk assembly. We seldom use the carens lately but when we do it drives just fine (2007 and almost 70k) but we notice its just nosier (the engine) than usual. Pero di ko din sure, baka naninibago lang kasi bihira ko na lang i drive. There is also just a (very) slight vibration when braking at high speed, di pa napapalitan break pads. Other than that, it still drives as good as when we first got it.

    Ano po ba ang signs na may tama na flywheel? Vibration, gaano po katindi? Sanay kasi ko sa diesel engine that vibrates like crazy (we have an Isuzu highlander) kaya i tend to be forgiving when it comes to vibration.

    Lastly, if ever dmf needs replacement, saan maganda pagawa? Balitaan na lang po... And good luck sa mga nagpa replace ng dmf.

    We plan to keep the carens still for the next 4 years. Preferred for long drives ng family.

    anyone who has already replaced their CV joint or ball joint? may nae-experience kasi akong lagutok pag nag i-steer ako either full left or right pero hindi naman parati lalo na from stop tapos dahan dahan arangkada while turning full left or right, baka may same experience kayo, pa-share na lang, thanks!

    malakas ang kutob ko na nasa power steering rack and pinion ang tunog na yan... may hihigpitan lang sa rack and pinion yun yung may half moon shaped na bushing... yan kasi yung nag push sa rack gear against the pinion gear.. pag maluwag yan.. maririnig mo yung lagutok ng gears..

    para mahigpitan yun, kailangan ibaba yung buong cross member ng carens... no need na tanggalin pa yung rack and pinion..

    Sir ako naexperience ko yung lagutok pero tuwing backing at naka apak ako sa brakes. Sa normal driving naman wala yung lagutok. Pag kunwari ipaparada ko na carens at iaayos ko yung pag atras, dun ko maririmig ang lagutok.

    Btw, normal ba yung pa akyat at naka 2nd gear na eh hanggang 2900 lang ang rpm at di na aakyat pa beyond that? Na observe ko kasi ito for the past 3 days. Kahit isagad ko na yung apak sa pedal di na siya tataas pa. Usually sa 2nd gear ito nangyayari and sometimes pag binibirit ko ganyan din sa 1st gear. Pag naka 3rd gear, kaya naman lumagpas ng 3k rpm. Sa ecu kaya ito kasi di ko pa napapa update yung ecu after the egr cleanup.

    Pag sa patag ganon din pero once nakalagpas na sa 2nd gear eh back to its normal performance na naman. Parang pag naka 2nd gear ka pa akyat at inabot na nya 2900 rpm eh wala na. Hanggang dun na lang. Nabitin kasi ako minsan sa isang overtake.

    Sorry medyo andami kong pinopost about my carens. Pag nasolve siguro ito ng ecu update matatahimik na ako. Ang layo kasi ng Kia pampanga sa amin eh ito ata yung may pang upgrade ng ecu software. Baka na experience nyo na ito dati. I need your inputs badly. Thanks again.

    ser seymorebutts, dati parang na experience ko ay may konting weird sensation and sound when turning the steering wheel (same nga on Full-Lock situation)...sa tingin ay may steering components related to rack and pinion and/or tie rods and/or stabilizer links that makes those noises. kung CV joint 'yun normally the takatok sound happens when wheels are turning not when turning steering wheel. anyway di naman grabe so di ko na pinapansin....

    Guys, anyone who has encountered turbo problems? I just had it today, every time I step on the gas pedal and make a sudden release, I hear a whistling sound while deccelerating. I know there's a slight whistling sound when accelerating, but deccelerating?? Then the sound is only noticeable when running at 30-40kms, if I go faster, the sound is gone.

    ok check ko sa goodgear.. masyado mahal sa casa eh...

    haha.. tumawag na ako sa good gear wala pa 400 petot yung orig na fuel filter... grabe talaga casa...

    gagawa nga ako ng listahan ng part numbers para mas madali mag order...

    guys, my carens is now at kia pasay for 40K pms.... funny thing is.. service personnel there doesn't know how to dismantle the EGR for cleaning.... hayzzzz.. typical casa talaga.... 1st time daw nila mag remove ng EGR ng carens...

    daig pa sila ng mga mekaniko sa goodgear. doon ako nagpalinis ng egr ng carens.

    bro, promise kayang kaya DIY yang EGR cleaning para ka lang nagpapalit ng air filter sa dali....

    medyo madami lang tatangalin to access the EGR.. meron lang sya 2 bolts on each side plus 1 bolt sa bracket nya.. tapos may 2 hose tangal na agad...

    sa kia pasay ok naman sa kanila own oil although out of warranty na yung saken... i use motul crdi specific.. lakas hatak parang brand new ulet

    hmm... the last time I was at Kia Alabang (last month), I was complaining na medyo may black smoke pag ni-rev to 3.5-4K rpm and they (kia alabang) said EGR needs cleaning (so some mechanic knows it, some don't?). Di ko lang pinagawa kasi (1) matagal daw (2) di naman sobra mausok, pag hig rev lang talaga.

    Dami nagsasabi ok sa Goodyear Pasay ah. Advisable ba na dun na din magpa (basic) service like change oil, EGR cleaning? I plan to have my EGR cleaned on next PMS pero di na sa casa.
