2007 Kia Carens [continued]

Pati sa Kia Alabang, they don't know how to clean (what the F*** is the EGR daw). When I complained na medyo humina hatak, what they did was change the fuel filter and the result > NO IMPROVEMENT! Btw, My Carens is now 4 1/2 yrs with me.

Looks like I will have to go the Goodgear.

nahahalatang puro baguhan ang mga mechaniko nila.... baka sir mga OJT lang ang gumagawa dyan....

hindi ko din kasi alam pa tanggalin yung egr ng carens eh.. kaya ko dinala dun para nga matuto ako... eh baligtad pa nangyare.. ako pa nag turo paano tatanggalin eh....

madali lang pala linisin egr.. kaya DIY...dapat talaga may oil catch can din tayo.. dami langis napupunta sa intake eh

Question lng po dyan sa NCR. Does the casa allow you to bring some parts not bought from them and have them installed by them? Like the oil filters? Thanks. They also charge me with Brake cleaners, windshield washers and etc.

Sinubukan ko magdala ng langis sa kia dagupan nung 55k pms pero may additional charge parang corkage. Kaya nagdecide ako na yung langis na lang nila gamitin. D ko sure kung lahat ng casa ganito ang patakaran lalo na sa NCR.

Pero suggest ko kausapin mo muna sila baka naman pwede.

When you have your brakes cleaned, be sure to ask for the Brake Cleaner Aerosol Can since you paid for it. Sigurado marami pang laman!

sige.. sa 45k kms lilinisin ko ulet yung egr.... at pipicturan ko...

or kung meron malapit sa las pinas at gusto mag diy ng egr cleaning, sabihan nyo lang ako at tuturo ko sa inyo....

Have a 2012 Kia carens. Planning to replace the steel wheeels w/ plastic covers with a new set of mags. Would I go for a 15 inch mags so I can retain the tires since they are still fairly new or an upgrade to a 16 inch wheel and mag set be better? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Might as well get 225/50R17 tires and rims as these are Kia Carens/Rondo standards for EX models.

Ok lang ba if noisy ung compressor pero wala naman effect in terms of performance?? Anyone experience this? What will this lead to? Just had my PMS, they didn't even mention anything about it.

Most likely compressor pulley yan. Kapapalit ko lang nyan last March. P6995 part (less 25%) + P3000 (less 20%) labor sa Wheels E. Rod. (kasama na freon). Discount dahil may promo nun.

Parang ang dami ng pinapalitan sa carens namin, will turn 3 on the 7th. Turbo and AC pulley bearing.

*Hanren, possible that your carens lost a lot of oil so the engine seized. I'm not a mechanic but I experienced a blown radiator once and engine immediately died due to overheating (corolla 92 xe model). After radiator was replaced, it was running again. Hope your car just needs additional oil and oil pan replacement.

yes thanks. I hope yun lang ang magiging issue at hindi yung overhaul or change engine.

Had a malfunctioning lock sa front passenger door, ayaw mabuksan...tinotopak. I thought door actuator ang problema and had me scratching my head kasi hindi mabuksan ang pinto. Pinatingnan ko kanina as araneta ave....buti gumana as kaka-pindot ng remote. Spring lang pala....medyo na stuck. Tanggal-kabit lang. Ayun, naayos din. P1200 labor. hirap pala buksan ang door lock mechanism ng carens.
