ok lang replacement. try niyo rin sir multimotors at banawe. they have oem aircon filter for kia. number is 741-1116/711-0333. i think cost is around P700-750

..Malas lang ako sa mga maliliit na gasgas gawa ng mga bata sigurong nagdadaan na nang-gagasgas ng pintura. Pero pinapagawa ko na lang sa Kia Pasig tuwing me PMS ako, di naman kamahalan ang touch up.

Hi josuaching, magkano ang usual touch-up sa paint? marami-rami na rin kasing gasgas yung carens ko.

I don't think we need to be worried about the defective wiring. These recalls are for the latest models only. Our carens/rondo has been in the market for 4 years already (if I'm not mistaken).

yes pag oem my hyundai/kia logo or mobis logo.

I don't think we need to be worried about the defective wiring. These recalls are for the latest models only. Our carens/rondo has been in the market for 4 years already (if I'm not mistaken).

it's been shown that some recalls take a couple of years after introduction so it would be wise to keep an eye out for these things. especially dito sa pinas where the consumer is treated so badly.

Ang recall ay para lang sa mga model: SOUL, BORREGO, at SORRENTO..di kasama ang Rondo o Carens natin.

Hello guys, bago lang ako dito. I just have a question about the Carens. Hindi ko lang alam kung sa tama thread ko ito ipo-post.

I got a Carens in May 2009. Nasa 12K pa lang ang mileage niya sa ngayon. During the past 2 weeks may mga incidents with the Carens na bigla na lang ayaw mag start. If you turn the key, nothing happens, the clock display just disappears like what usually happens when you start any car. But the engine will not start. Maghihintay lang kami between 5 to 15 minutes, then try ulit mag start then the car will start. Nangyari sa akin ito twice and nangyari din yan sa kapatid ko twice. Brought the car to Kia Congressional pero wala naman silang makitang fault.

Any of you guys encountered this problem?

I had the same experience too. It happened to me twice when I tried to start the engine and it wont start. I've waited for about 5 to 10 minutes and it started. I dont know what seems to be the problem. It happened once in the morning. I only used my carens for about two months now so I guess it is too soon for me to experience that.

it happened to me also yung bago pa yung carens ko. ayaw din mag start yung engine. the engine will not crank when you turn the key pero yung mga ilaw sa dashboard ok naman. clock display will disappear when you start the engine pero walang response yung engine. yung pala nakalagay sa D yung gear selector kaya ayaw magstart. sir correct me if im wrong baka ganito rin yung reason kaya ayaw magstart yung carens niyo.

Depende sa laki or liit ng gagawing area at kung gaano ang gagawing preparation doon sa paint-job. Anywhere from P1,500 pataas. Kailangan mong iwan sa kanila ng at least overnight ang Carens mo para i-bake at i-buff yong finish.

yup, hindi aandar ang makina kapag nakalagay sa "D" yung transmission. it's just a safety feature.

Pero nung ayaw mag start yung sasakyan, all the accessories are working... gumagana ang radio, gumagana ang mga interior lights, pati nga aircon gumana e... battery pa din kaya yan?

To Sir MasterChef: Monday ko nga pinadala sa Congressional yung Carens pero silver yung Carens namin. May 3 Carens yata sine-service duon, 1 blue, 1 black, and 1 hindi ko na matandaan... hehehe...

could be a battery problem OR you haven't upgraded your software sa computer box. just ask the casa. libre lang naman yan eh.

Napapansin nyo ba na mas maingay na yung engine ng carens nyo over the years? Last time I was in the casa, our carens was being serviced beside another carens, both engines were running and our carens' engine was distinctively noisier. Yung carens na katabi namin is bagong bago pa (the plate number started with an 'N'). Any ideas why the engine would become noisier over the years. I recently had one engine support replaced (it eliminated some annoying vibrations), could it be possible that the engine is noisier because of old / defective engine supports?
