guys do any of you know a reputable store where i could get my driver side power lock actuator fixed? nag try ako kanina sa banawe sabi sa akin, its not the usual ordinary type of actuator they have. ibang klase daw kaya ayaw nila galawin.

btw, carens nearing 3 yrs palang. but i havent been going to case for change oil so... warranty voided daw. crap right ?

yung sa exhaust side ng turbo malamang puro talaga carbon yun.. pero yung sa intake side wala dapat...

imho, wag mo na pagalaw yan turbo mo kasi baka masira lang... lalo na kung hindi naman sira..

yung kia carnival ko dati pag tinanggal yung intake hose, nakikita ko na yung turbo fan blades.. hindi naman ma carbon eh... hamak na mas mausok yung carnival sa carens

Hi! Nangyari na ba sa iyo ito at medyo hindi maganda ang experience mo tungkol dito? O kaya sa kakilala mo? Kwento mo naman kasi medyo sakal ang acceleration ng Carens ko dahil nga maraming carbon deposit ang tubo ko..lumiit daw yung dinadaanan ng compressed air..

bro.. kasi yung turbo charged air mo dadaan pa yan sa intercooler bago pumunta sa intake manifold mo.. so kung meron man magbabara sa system eh yung intercooler yun! kasi para yung radiator na may maliliit na tubes to cool the air prior entering the engine..

pa check mo muna baka may air leak ang turbo mo or pangit yung diesel quality na gamit mo..

hindi ba ma reach ng carens mo yung max speed nya?? minsan kasi sanay ka na sa acceleration kaya ang dama mo eh mabagal

Ser sa tingin ko masyado pang maaga para palitan ang mga belts at 40k kms. Had my 40k PMS at Kia Pampanga (total costs: Php 9,800+). Air, A/C, Oil, at Fuel filters lang pinalitan. Check up lang yung belts at suspension.

OO nga ganyan din ang cost ko, plus addl P4500 pa para sa break pad sa harapan. May point douth nga rin ako kaya trust lang ang mangyayari, in case may mangyari puwede natin singilin sa Casa ang lahat ng damaged anun man hope will be ok naman after PMS natin. I double check na lang natin ang pinalitan at ang kuwenta baka makatawad ng kaunti

Hi Guys,

The side mirrors of my Carens was stolen, yung plates (mirror mismo) ang kinuha. Sobrang kainis kasi I left the car in front of our house last night and when I went out early this morning wala na. Pati yung side mirror and hub cab ng Revo ng brother in law ko ninakaw rin.

I called Kia Mandaluyong to get a replacement. Unfortunately sa 25 pa daw ma-order kasi sarado na yung plant. 1 daw lang sana yun and it would cost 1500 per pair. Kaya eto, pupunta kami sa Banawe ng husband ko today para maghanap. Wish me luck...

My side mirrors were stolen last year, bought from Kia Pasig for PHP 1,700++ discounted (may promo that time). Goldrich didn't have protectors yet at that time, good thing meron na now. Thanks for sharing.

Kahapon nagpunta ako sa Kia Pasig para sa 60,000 km PMS. Inabot ng P7,300 ang bayad dahil meron silang 15% discount promo sa service, otherwise nasa over P8,000 sana yon katulad ng 20K, 40K at 60K service. Pinaka mahal sana ang 60K PMS dahil kailangang palitan ang timing belt at tensioner, pero di ko pa pinagawa kasi nga napaka-aga pa ng 60k sa palagay ko. Ang cost ng timing belt replacement e P15K..aray ko! sakit..

Ibabalik ko next week ang Carens ko para ibaba ang Turbo para malinis. P2.8K daw ito, pero okay na siguro dahil parang nabasa ko na meron tayong member na pinagawa ito at mga P3.7K yata ang ginastos nya. Puro carbon daw ang turbo at kailangang ibaba at linisin dahil nasasakal ang flow ng hangin kaya nagkakaroon ng hesitation pag arangkada o pag nag-oovertake..

napansin ko nga above 2K rpm na mag-boost ang Turbo.....alam ko dati halos eksakto sa 1800RPM eh.....eto kaya dahilan?

Carens owners, meron na po ba sa inyong nagka problema sa turbo ninyo? I've been hearing that a lot of Carens have had turbo problems and the turbo had to be replaced.

Ang turbo e natural na magdumi at siguro eto ang naririnig mo. Yung sa akin e nasa Kia Pasig ngayon at lilinisin dahil sa lumiit ang butas dahil sa napuno ng carbon deposits.

Di naman basta-basta nasisira ito, pwera na lang kung di natin sinusunod yung "shutdown" procedure na maghintay ng few minutes bago patayin ang engine dahil kailangang lumamig muna ang turbo fins bago natin eto patayin.

Nakuha ko na ang Carens ko at ang total bill e P2,554.00. Ibinaba ang turbo at nilinis ang mga carbon deposits dito. Siguro (dahil di ko nakita ang pag-gawa) e ibinaba ito at in-soaked ng maraming oras para matunaw o lumambot yung mga carbon deposits. Okay na okay na naman ang takbo at balik-hataw na naman ang turbo VGT ko. Dati-rati kasi e pag nag-o-overtake ako, lalo na at pataas ang kalsada e umuubo ang engine ko, yun bang parang ayaw humatak at ilang beses akong napahiya sa pag-overtake... Ngayon okay na naman at parang bago, saka nag-improve ang diesel-mileage ko ulit..

It's me again. I posted some time ago about our Carens refusing to start. These incidents usually happen after I shut the engine and tried to start it again within a few minutes. When I turn the key all I hear is a click then nothing else. What we do is we just wait for few to several minutes before the engine will suddenly decide to start again effortlessly. Dinala ko na sa 2 Kia Service Centers (Congressional and North EDSA) and they can't seem to find any problems.

Lately, we have experienced the same problem again this time even after the engine has been shut down for several hours. Ganun pa din yung trick we wait for some time then the engine will start again. May nagsabi na battery ang problem but we already changed the battery and even with the brand new battery the problem did not go away.

Any one of yopu guys experiencing this? I am really disappointed with this Carens of ours; 2009 lang namin binili less than 2 years pa lang may problemang ganun na. Do you guys know which Kia Service Center is better at diagnosing problems with the car?
