[quote=itlog na pula;1068436]me too!!! i wasn't charged any labor nung 5000 kms pms ko. that's strange...di kaya babawiin nila kapag 10,000 kms pms?
I was charged labor fee by Kia Pasig for 5t km pms.Akala ko mas ok sila kce owned by Columbia Motor. Yet pangit ang service , isa lang mekaniko doing pms at ang motor oil galing sa drum sinalen nila sa plastic container sympre contaminated na ang motor oil. At d gumana ang lifter nila. Very disappointed me may service charge na at poor facility.
Just got back from subic kanina and drove my carens through SCTex. Hehehe I reach approximately 205 kph with aircon on. Going to subic and going back to manila. siyempre sa sctex ko siya ginawa wala nga makaabot sa akin e.![]()
Sorry my bad, you're right. The EX has the 16 inch wheels while the LX has 15 inchers. I can only pray the PCD is 5x112... my leftover wheels look perfect on them! (Minus the other car's logo, haha!) Here's a pic of the wheels themselves... if only I could change the logo... don't want people thinking the Carens is an Audi wannabe: http://cgi.ebay.ph/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=130220506975
When you said that it sucks in city driving, do you mean that it hard to control the accelerator? Or do you mean that the turning radius is not so good for city traffic? Thanks!

Latest update is that the contract with the financing company has already been signed by the powers-that-be here in my company. It's been sent back to the financing company for actual payment to Kia. I have already been asked to pay my additional share as well. So, if everything works out, I'll have my unit by early next week!![]()
Bros Mshumacher and Vinrem, thanks! It has been a long wait for me but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! And my Carens is waiting for me at the end!
I will definitely take pictures of my Carens once I get it.... I will buy leatherette seatcovers for it as soon as my budget permits. Otherwise, it will look exactly like the Carens of bro Itlog na Pula. :D
bro no sweat yun pagkakaabot ng wheels natin sa ganyan speed. stable pa rin siya sobra. and in fact wala nga nakaramdam na 200+ na takbo ko e. reached that speed around 4-6 times papunta at pabalik. and thanks to SCTex sa road conditions nila sobra patag and ang sarap daanan.![]()

Wish we had wheels like these for the Carens here...

oh i'm sure you will do this not just once. tama si Mschumacher no sweat talaga. it will reach that speed even if you don't intend to. When I did a 170+ i didn't notice it, I was just cruizing along, i was surprised it is already nearing 180 when i glanced and the speedometer thats when I let go of the gas pedal a bit to tame the beast, at that point super stable pa din. When the carens see an open road, she wants to conquer it... fast!
congrats on your upcoming ride bro! try and be easy on her the first time![]()
THANKS!
From what I heard, my unit (a white EX CRDi) is already ready for delivery - the dealer is just waiting for payment. Kawawa yung officemate ko... he plans to get either a black or red LX M/T. Kaso, sabi nung dealer out of stock daw yung LX M/T right now. Mga two weeks pa daw yung susunod na delivery... So, while I'll probably get mine by next week, my officemate will have to wait a bit longer for his...
By the way, I was the one who convinced my officemate to get a Carens also... He initially wanted to get an Innova.![]()
