Guys some of the carens owner will meet up at the fort today SUNDAY, AUGUST 24, 2008, 4:30PM Bonifacio High Street Parking, the one nearest R.O.X. It is going to be small e.b. so that we could get to know each other and personally see each other also.
It is best to find a contact sa CAC or Kia to be part of this forum para they would know our needs and in effect, they could improve on their weak points. I guess the best place to have an EB would be at Kia or CAC, para makita nila ang unity nating Carens and other Hyundai/Kia owners.
Nung nabasag yung rear stop light assembly ko (victim of hit and run by another car), it took them for about 140days bago dumating ang replacement parts
.
Sana nalaman ko na ganito pala ang support na binibigay nila bago ako kumuha. I hope these are isolated cases but whatever the reasons are for these "patience tests", the aftersales support isand needs a lot of improvements (and attention from CAC).
Wag naman sana nilang sirain ang sa improvements sa brand image ng Kia lately.
hahaha! difference of 3 months+ din yun a!still, parts shouldn't take that much time to arrive... they should at least have a buffer stock for parts that get damaged or might need replacing. CAC is at fault, but Kia Korea should also look into this problem... how the hell can CAC buy so many units from Korea yet they don't buy parts for the cars?

I guess it's much more difficult for them than for those with a factory in the Philippines... they have to order from Korea.
But if you'd like to feel better, some manufacturers, even with a local plant, take a long time to get certain parts.
Cosmetic replacement parts, like lights, badges, etcetera... are not often stocked, because they don't need them. For my Ford, it took three months for them to finish repiars after an accident. The last two months of that was waiting for lights and badges. Take note... the Lynx is assembled in the Philippines.
What dealers and factories stock is commonly replaced parts... suspension parts, brakes, alternators, clutches, CV Joints, etcetera... but even then, some parts are not in enough demand for them to stock. Waiting time at Nissan for a Cefiro CV Joint... considering there are lots of Cefiros in the Philippines... ? 3 months.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Guys, if your are nearing your PMS and needs to have your cars scheduled for PMS please don't go to wheels e rod ave. they are just swindling you of your hard earned money. Imagine having to pay 45++ for a 10k PMS. If I had it performed in kia signet I would be paying 3k only.

I agree with you. 3rd gear is too high.
for me, the ideal speed for 4th gear is a min of 50kph for a 4 a/t.
I have talked to my sales agent re the adjustment, but they are not aware of any tweaks to modify the setting.
I am not sure if the shifting changes with the distance travelled.
before, when it hasn't run 3500 km, it would go to 4th only at 80kph. now my odo is around 3658 km.[/SIZE]
Tanong ko lang magkano ang ginastos niyo sa insurance claim ninyo sa carens ninyo. and anong insurance company niyo sa mga unit niyo.

70- up, 4th Gear!!!Sir since electronic AT with fuzz logic ang transmission, different driving styles will affect "shift points". Try mo sir observe ung banayad na acceleration then i compare mo ung shift points nun vs sa "pedal to the metal" all the way to 4th gear. Dependent kasi sa madaming factors when mag shift ang trans ninyo ie engine speed, vehicle speed, throttle position, etcI am not sure if the shifting changes with the distance travelled.

did you replace the original speakers? kaya ba ng head unit without adding amplifiers? mschu... is the insurance of all dealers the same? no, i haven't claimed any insurance yet....
He He He. I bargained with my dealer to deduct my insurance premium from the the selling price. Its hard to insure with casa, they give insurance company that you are not comfortable with. Like mschu.... He is getting a hard time to know his deductible or participation, there is no one to explain to him his policy provisions.
