For sure tata-as ang price.

Euro4 emission levels for old Isuzu engines? They need to install a dpf.

    Have it RUSTPROOFED.

Had mine done already after contemplating for about two weeks into ownership. At that time rain started pouring because of the successive storm warnings coming to metro manila, which in a way helped me decide on it. This was sometime end of August. Did not regret my decision.

Also had the Spray-on bedliner as well.

    Hi Tsikoteers,
Any info where I can purchase brake shoe of my Isuzu Dmax LT 2014.. According to Alabang Auto Parts they have two sizes 13.5 and 12in original parts. Problem is they want me to bring the actual sample for comparison.. Any recommendation where I can purchase without bringing down the brake shoe

avail of the sensor and egr cleaning, including engine de-carbonizing ( marami na offers available outside casa just google it ).

after all is back to normal, I suggest to invest in a quality OCC (Oil Catch Can, like the one made by MANN, "provent 200"). Some may find it "PRICEY" (I can't comprehend why, nakaka afford nga sila bumili ng mga mas malaking halaga na non-functional, for aesthetics only accessories ) compared to those generic ones sold by local auto accessories shops, but based from my personal experience.... DEFINITELY worth the price tag.

Had one installed in my b/new Isuzu Dmax unit and one on my 12-year old Toyota Innova. Effects immediately felt specially on the much older latter. Actually, both engines seemed to run a little quieter now BUT I noticed dun sa Toyota, it felt like some of the lost power was regained back. "Lumiksi" ulit siya so I'm quite satisfied with the product.

Sorry, I can't agree sa common practice ng ibang owner to disconnect the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventillation) valve on the air intake side just to cut-off and prevent the oil residue back into the engine intake system.

They don't realize how bad the effect of that procedure is to our Ozone layer above. They are allowing the release of very toxic and gaseous fumes that are harmful in the air we all breath and the environmental damage it WILL cause.

Installing a quality OCC is a more RESPONSIBLE way to approach the problem of long-term carbon build-up in the EGRs.

    peace

We just bought the 2017 Dmax before nabalitaan namin about yung sa Blue Power Dmax and the law about phasing out the Euro-2 vehicles. Pero kahit nalaman namin yan earlier, out of the budget na rin yung bagong Dmax kasi mas mahal sya more or less 100k compared sa 2017 dmax. We bought the 2017 dmax kasi malaki discount na binigay sa amin that time.

Now after ko mabasa yung sa Euro-4 compliant na Dmax at yung pag ban ng Euro-2 vehicles, it made me think na baka bad decision yung pagbili namin ng 2017 Dmax.

What do you guys think, worth it ba yung nabili namin? Please convince me po na tama or okay lang yung nabili namin.
    Parang pampalubag loob nalang po.

how about if you bought mux euro 2 now then you decide to sell it next year for unknown reason. The value of it maybe lower than half considering there is a new euro 4 compliant unit being sold. Then all of the large discount they offering you now will not suffice the amount of devaluation of your unit.

    Depends.

There are buyers out there who really shun these new fangled technology.

Euro IV means more things in the vehicle that will break down and/or need constant maintenance, replacement or repair.

Their motto is the simpler things are, the better life is.

Dumating na euro 2 unit namin 2 weeks ago pero pinacancel namin since lumabas bluepower the day before. The 50k price increase is worth it tho. Saw the poster sent to me. 8 inch hu, HDC, more soft touch sa interior and usb ports. I did not like the 18 inch chrome wheels for the LS 4X2. The current wheels is only for the 4x4 LS

Iyong blue power d-max na MT ang nakasulat na transmission ay “MT with sequential shift,” ibig sabihin ba nito ay hindi na gagamitin clutch pag shift from 1st to 2nd to higher gears?

The only time gagamitin clutch ay pag pupunta 1st gear or reverse?

    Thanks po sa replies!

Hindi ba kayo happy sa unit niyo? Because Euro2 lang engine? So what???

I recently bought a 2017 Dmax 4x4 (not yet BLUE POWER) and I have no regrets

    Super Value for money

FYI, nothing special with the BLUE POWER that is offered here except that it is euro 4 compliant. In fact, it is actually an outgoing engine variant in other countries. Kaya para sakin, it is just an excuse for IPC to justify a price increase, specially when the excise tax kicks in next year and the year after.

And I doubt much if IPC will offer the engine anytime soon.

You did right as you saved cash!
Buying a Euro 2 engine is also buying a Euro 4 engine. The only new thing is, sensors are added which is to be read by computer box and it is just another work for that ECM plus a little change on certain metal parts where sensors are fitted. If ever there is a new feature; that is not significant and no relation to Euro 4 engine.
