I switched to fully synthetic oil, so my service advisor told me the PMS was adjusted to the 10,000 km interval seen in other countries. Since they have no chart for the 10,000 km intervals, I guess there are just some other adjustments made to the cost due to the skipped 5000 km PMS.

    Hi guys,

Do you have any leads as to where I can find a Dmax LS 2008 steering wheel? Also, do you think the steering wheel of 2015 model would fit into a earlier model? Perhaps, the audio controls wouldn't because 1 din lang ang previous gen.

Also looking for airbox for the air cleaner na din.

    Thanks!

Have you tried Walco Banawe or Jayson sa Tondo? Fit steering wheel ng 2014+ D-Max/Mu-x sa prev gen. Kita ko sa India Alterra nila manibela ng Mu-x. Audio controls might work depending on the head unit.

    Doc MD888:::

Which dealer aka casa do you go to?

I recently inquired at the service desk where I purchased my DMAX unit and they specifically informed me THAT whether I use FS or Mineral (aka "hdeos" credit to sir StockEngine), PMS schedule still required at every 5K KMS or my warranty can be voided. ISUZU MANILA is my casa.

    I go to Isuzu Commonwealth.
Is that so? Hmm, that is weird... They are inconsistent with their advice when it comes to maintenance intervals.

Yes, we did. Kapalangan and Banawe as well, but to no avail.

That's great to hear na applicable ang current dmax's steering wheel sa old one. Yeah, the Dmax and Alterra's share almost the same everything, so we're also looking at that model for the steering wheel and airbox.

    More inputs, please.

    Thank you.

    Confusing advice indeed

When in doubt, one may simply refer to their warranty booklet.

Do you mean that let's say you are traveling 60 kph and you slammed on the brake, not pumping it, you will hear that sharp krrrrrrggggrgrgrgrgr sound? If that's the sound that you heard, that was your ABS working. It sounds strange and feels like something sh*t happened to your brake pedal and a cable snapped and grinding your disc brakes.

    ganito nangyayari sakin minsan....

    ano kaya problema nito?

Well, if my unit came out now, the first thing I would do is to consider having it rustproofed first. Ziebart easy comes off to my mind. Still deciding whether to avail of the Super Rust Protection, Critical Area Protection, or Underchassis Protection only.

    Suggestions, comment are certainly welcome.
    LS po.

Kahit naman hindi fresh out of the dealer, pwede pa rin ipa rust proof unit. Naexpose na rin naman sa elements kahit bago pa, isipin mo from plant to stockyard to delivery.

Ziebart advised me it's recommended to have it rust-proofed within the first year. Underchassis would be enough since that part is most exposed to dirt, mud, and loose debris.
