Yuip, gulong lang. (265/70 vs. 245/70) 1 inch ang itinaas.

Actually, "bigger" ang sa D-Max in terms of overall bed AREA. The bed of the D-Max is "deeper" than that of the Hilux BUT the Hilux bed is "longer".

Cya nga pala bago ko maexperience MIL problems at bago masira SCV ng unit ko napinsin ko na malakas yun fuel consumption ko. Mga 10kms/L to 12.5kms cya. No more worries happy na ko ulit!
'yong ibang SUV Owner masaya na sa 10kms/L. he he he.
Parang napakatipid na non sa kanila. he he he.

Pero 'wag ka, Yang 10kms/L na yan can only be achieved if they also observed some fuel saving habits like not too heavy on the gas pedal and no jack rabbit starts and sudden stops. In short, not the normal driving conditions or the usual way of most drivers. Angdaming compromise para lang maging fuel efficient sila kuno.

for those with intermittent MIL or CEL, AND you do not notice any abnormal engine conditions. try checking your fuses if its seated properly

on my 2004 MT dmax, it happened to me about 3x during the early years. it was suggested that the check the fuses. kasi matagtag daw mga pickup may small chance they might be loose.

i have been regularly checking them at hindi na bumalik.

but if you feel anything abnormal, (or for your peace of mind) then by all means go to the dealer.

    Rear Projector Headlamps (Global Dmax)

I just found out kanina na basag pala yun "Rear Projector Headlamps" ng pick-up ko sa right side.

Sa parking lot kagabi siguro nangyari. I really want to replace it with an OEM so ano po ba mabuti kong gawin? May nabibili po ba nun sa Jason"s Auto Supply or sa Banawe and how much? Kung ipapasok ko kaya sa insurance, magkano kaya magiging participation pay ko? Naiisip ko kc kapag pasok ko insurance baka magtagal, tapos di ba pares yun, at kapag pinalitan ng insurance, kukunin syempre nila yun lumang pares ng lamps na tinanggal. Sayang naman yun nasa left side na buo. Baka po meron sa inyo na may spare na left benta nyo na lang sakin. Thanks a lot sa magbibigay ng advice at sa babasa nito.

Rear Projector Headlamps? 1st time I heard of this on the D-Max. Could you post a pic?

Well, charging it to insurance may cost you more than just buying it straight. The D-Max (being a commercial vehicle) would require a participation fee of 1% of the insured value. So if your D-Max is worth P1M, that's P10k in participation. Until you clarify the particular part you need, it is only then we could make a firm recommendation if to whether you charge via insurance or pay straight.

hello mga sir. im a new owner of hilux 4x2 G. hope to learn and share infos with you fellow truck owners. all set to go to banauwe tom for my spray-on bedliner and motorized roller lid set up. my bro called up a min ago telling me that carry boys motorized roller lid is no good. bumubukas raw mag-isa yung sa kanya! (his unit is dmax 1 month older than mine.) apparently he also heard similar reports from other owners. anybody here can attest or disprove this claim?
ano alternative na bed cover if indeed this problem is true and unresolved? is the spray-on bedliner really better than the drop-in?
