My mistake, saw it at page 38-39 of the owner's manual. I believe this is to provide double security for the vehicle. When activated, one would not only have to press the transmitter's "unlock" button but would also have to unlock using the key cylinder.... kinda odd really since the purpose of the keyless entry system is to provide CONVENIENCE to the driver/passengers. This would only result to a longer (add) process of entry. Oh well......

This photo shows Heart Evangelista's D-Max pulling her boat. Don't ask me how I know.... ... and it's not because I often read the "YES" magazine..... minsan lang.

Anak ng teteng. Kung alam ko lang eh di sana hinabol ko at nag pa autograph at baka sakaling nakasakay sya.

That DMAx was a 4WD and I noticed while we were trailing it na may nakalagay pa sa BED nya na mukhang mabigat. Pansinin niyo ung rear ni Dmax at medyo nakababa na. Sa bigat siguro ng dala nya other than the Mammoth.

    me discount pa 30k?
aside from matting, tint, saka seat cover ano pa makukuhang freebies?

my 2003 4X2 LS is getting old. am thinking of getting the new 4x4. I am very happy with my unit. But what gets me is that isuzu does not send us the latest units/features. In the age of internet, it is easy to see what their offerings are in Thailand (they stopped having an english version on their website) or in Australia (fortunately 'australian' is almost 100% english, mates). The power and torque figures are up (160+, 300+), they have a model where their is a hoodscoop, the key and remote lock is one unified unit, thai models even have a back-up camera. (These features have in offer for more than 6 months, I think) So, in as much as I want to get a new unit, I want to wait. I still think the D-MAX has the best balance of function+space+power+economy,etc.etc. But i think by the time we get those features, the other markets will have newer and better features again.
Come on, Isuzu! Don't they know the internet exists, and we have access to all the information?

    sir, curious lang po ako....

dun sa 4x2 na 3.0 I-teq...may manual ba na ganto? Yes. The Global D-Max comes in two (2) 3.0L variants: The LX (non airbag and abs) and the LS. Both variants has M/T.

and another is...same height ba sila nung 4x4? or its a non high rise body? Yes, both the 4x2 LX/LS variants are of the same height of the 4x4 LS variant. The 4x4 MT Boondock is the variant that is slightly higher in ground height and wider tires (265/70R16)

    Hope this helps.

hay ang hirap... i'll keep on reading both threads para makapili at makapag desisyon ng tama...

thank you po sa inyo mga sir... and more power to this thread!!

When we were in the market for a new pickup more than a year ago, we were really eyeing on the Hilux 4x4. The stance is just very beautiful. However, we are in the market for the 4x2 category only. To cut the long story short, the Dmax caught our hearts. It's already a full package. Just look at its posture and you will fall in love with it already. 4x2 that already looks like a 4x4

A lot of our friends and mechanics said that Isuzu is known to be the king of diesel, but for me, that wasn't the factor of buying it. It is yet to see if it could really withstand time.

Pertaining to the engine noise, you can never be more right, it is really noisy. Especially when I arrive during the wee hours, I could really hear the clunking of the engine and at times it makes me think that there is a problem with it.

Mine has logged more than 27k kms already and it's still problem free. I really don't check my FC but the last time I gassed up, it has around 600 kms in one full tank. In terms of speed, though it doesn't have the most powerful engine in the market, it's already sufficient for me. I have my fair share of racing with other pickups, from 4x2 to 4x4 and other SUVs, I couldn't outrun them but they couldn't outrun me either, just don't race with those luxury vehicles, you don't stand a chance.hehe

I just hope that they would release the Dmax that has that 160hp engine, for sure it's gonna be a powerful one.
