I've been using Motolite Excel maintenance free ever since. Lasts me 3 years on average. Wala namang lumobo sa mga naging battery ko. Pag kabit, forget!

i figured that, a battery life would last longer when most of your driving are done during the day.

djerms, actually, ganun ka-close ko namomonitor yung mga sasakyan sa amin. hehehe. no actually, based on experience din. yun lang kasi ang pinakabisyo ko e. magbuting-ting. as for the battery, it figures. less load(electrical, that is) means longer battery life. at sabi din sa akin nang isang friend ko na dating natrabaho sa outlast, pag bago ang batterya, dapat di muna gamitin sa pag jumpstart nang sasakyan na weak ang batterya. kasi masisira mga plates at iiksi lang ang buhay nang batterya.

isa pa pala. alam nyo ba yung plastic cover sa engine bay, yung kulay gold na nakapaibabaw sa valve cover? pag inalis yun, mas less ang rattling sound nang makina. i figured its because hindi masyado nagre-resonate yung engine noise.

wala pa results insurance ng other party, pero cooperative naman sya. as long as ganito treatment sakin no hard feelings. (my vehicle was on-street properly parked and un-attended, it was a wide street good enough for 4 vehicles to pass along without problems, with no rushing traffic and yet his rear (and extended) bumper hit my left rear door while backing out of his parking)

repair est ko from i.pasig is upto 30k. my gosh. calling for the complete replacement of the door panel na 20k++.

yeah right, like the other party's insurance will approve of this. i think a high price range of 7-8k from a 5star body repair will be satisfactory.

    ps-ot
last night a taxi clipped the left side rear bumper of my corolla. he swerved from 2 lanes to my left to before the concrete barrier dividing vehicles going to plaza dilao and nagtahan. i was going to nagtahan, he was on the lane going to plaza dilao til the last moment he also decided to go to nagtahan. again swerving to my lane and hitting me.

2 hits using 2 different cars in less than 1 week or 5 days apart. both times i was not the cause both times damage to the cars might be extensive or costly but can be corrected perfectly or even replaced and no injuries to anyone.

always practice defensive driving. will always give thanks to Jesus for blessings like these.

    thanks

    Kurt,
Ganyan talaga pag minamalas. Nangyari na sakin yan to the point na nakakapraning na magdala ng sasakyan. Anyway dont forget to have your vehicles blessed pala...bigla ko lang naalala.

    Ian_rex,
Thanks for the tip sa engine cover. Matagal ko na gusto tanggalin yun. Paano ba? It looks sooo cheesy!

Ipagpatuloy mo ang pagbubutingting at nang mas marami ka pa maipamahagi samin!

    Engr. Bong,
Boss wala pa pong definite date. Actually we are not sure yet if they will be bringing in the current Dmax available in Thailand now (CRDi version) ot the new facelifted Dmax with hoodscoop.

IMO, its still worth buying the current dmax. Engine power is more than adequate for its size and weight. But if you really want the CRDi version, GO FOR IT!

Yahoo may potential buyer na tayo ng CRDi version!!! Tulo laway namin!

*djerms, hinihilala lang pataas yun. remember to be careful. may mga rubber rings yun. i wonder, para saan yung plastic na yun.

*cardo, sir, i don't think its a good idea. your fuel consumption might suffer. pero don't know for sure. kasi sa bike, pag nag-off road tires ka, pagdating sa pavement, hirap padyakan e. e ang nipis lang nun. how much more kung kasing lapad nang gulong nang dmax.

    Guys,
May remedy ba sa busina ng DMAX? Ang tigas pindutin sa steering wheel eh. By the time nagbusina ako nakalagpas or nalagpasan ko na yung binubusinahan ko. hehe.
