i think one-way lang ang action ng stock shocks ng DMAX. OLD MAN EMU has two-way action..

I'm sorry but I was in the province when I bought my filter pero ang sabi naman ng friend ko that if it is an Authorized Dealer hindi gaano malayo ang prices nationwide.
When I was still staying in the US, wala akong na experience na side-effects of performance filters on any gas or diesel engines. Puro praises lang from those who have it. I don't also think that a sudden rush of air during starting will subsequently damage the engine. What I do know for a fact is the opposite or yung not enough or restricted air will lead to poor engine performance. In fact my personal testimony is great improvement talaga in power and mileage. Asar na asar na nga ang next door neighbor ko with a 2006 Hi-lux. The D4D Common Rail engine fell short of his expectations in fuel economy.

Did a bit of scouting. You can try checking out the stereo at any JVC Audio-Video center. Meron na daw available ang Alpine with USB slot :cool01: . Who knows, if I get that dream DVD player with LCD for Xmas then I might just sell it to you hehe. presyong ka D-Max of course.

mine is a TFS series pick-up, OME leafs has a 3+2 (spring rate 131/400lbf/in)configuration coupled with OME shocks front and rear. but they almost share the same design ng d-max.
I suggest you try the shocks first, then you can evaluate.

its a double action shocks but a low load capacity lang.. but ok narin sakin kc malambot ang ride unlike sa ibang dmax na frends ko... pwede rin ikaw na gumawa nun... just jack up the differential and untighten the nuts and bolts sa u-bolt holding the leafspring, but remember to tie first the other 4 leafspring... get the 5th or support leafspring...

ano b reaction or sabi ng neighbor mo memphis about his hilux?
and about the performance filter.... it wouldnt have any bad effect sa engine when starting.. it would be easier for the engine to start dahil its easier to suck in air for the first initial combustion..kung mapansin niyo when starting the engine, less black smoke na ang lalabas... and nice ang idling ng engine na and it wouldnt matter kung nasa loob ng engine lang kc meron naman intercooler ang dmax so, it would do the job na cooling the air.. its functioning naman kahit your on idle lang but at a less compression ratio compared to when you are driving already...

It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
