ako yung blade lang pinalitan ko (the frame holding the blade was still the OEM)....generic blade sa suking autosupply cost P200 for the 2 blades, libre pakabit.
Jarhead,
Hindi siya pure yellow. If you will look closely sa bulbs rainbowish ang kulay but it projects a semi yellow light. Actually if you turn them on, ang ganda tingnan sa housing kasi yellowish ang ilaw. Not only that, its functional too!
I need your comments/opinion dmax owners...merun akong plan na project...irereplace ko ang grill ng dmax with the "expanded wire" screen.
Yung chrome part maintained...pero yung black plastic ang gagawin kong "expanded wire" screen. Eto yung kamukha ng mga naka Type R na grill na honda.
A good metal (not aluminum) expanded wire screen will cost me about P450+ (less than P500). Yung aluminum kasi mukhang malambot. Yung nakita ko sa ACE hardware na expanded wire screen is made of metal. Its originally a "book-shelf" screen.
Ang plan ko ay i-cut to size ko ito to fit the grill. Tapos, kung workable, either ipapachrome ko yun or ipapa powder coat ko.
mukhang 'di gaanong mapapansin gagawin mo. maliit lang kasi ung area na un e. and one thing our grill is about 20k php (chrome part: 15k php, and black part: 5k php) according to isuzu casa. kaya ingat ka baka may masira ka dun.. palitan mo na lng ung buong grille ng BILLET GRILL or ung katulad sa mga kasama natin dito. kay ATOY (see website) marami ok kaso pricey masyado..
wildthing-- napaka bold move yan gagawin mo... baka masira pa ang orig na grill mo.... try doin what i hav planned to do.. iv posted it in this thread earlier... aero style ang dating... but it entiles alot of fabricating naman... heehehehe....better not do it nalang....
2dmax--- its not just the inoova... pati hi-lux and fortuner ata ganun kc they hav the same engine lang...
yup.. very reliable talga ang isuzu.. kahit ang alterra.. no prob pa... so far... izusu really took time to study and perfect their engine kc they are protecting their name... ewan ko lang sa toyota.. even in thailand.. toyota owners are having probs with their unit too...
kahit yun commonrail na dmax ng thailand and australia wala pa prob lumabas.. except for minor probs tlga.. not like sa toyota... the dmax or rodeo sa labas is even a very awarded vehicle... dami na award nakuha nyan...
maganda lang styling ng toyota. but reliability sa ISUZU pa rin. sayang sana ang 160 horses ng 3.0 D-4D ng toyota. tsktsk. for me 130 hp is enough considering its efficiency it gives..
tama ka dyan 2dmax... maganda tlaga ang porma ng toyota but never could compete for the reliability ng isuzu... and very satisfactory ang dmax... more worth than the hi lux, if you ask me. everytime i use our dmax.. heavy maging work nya.. mag haul... hehehe.... but still meron pogi points parin kahit naka haul.. hehehehehe.... kung mag hilaan ang dalawa ng cguro panalao ang dmax kahit 130 lng ang hp... but the way isuzu built it, lalamang kesa hilux...
kelan kaya ilalabas ang crdi version ng dmax dito sa PH? if that ever happens, maganda magupgrade to the sophisticated 4x4 crdi dmax!!! I love the push button 4x4 controls
it would be so ideal to release the crdi version once the new mitsu and ford pickups come.
meron ako nakausap dmax driver.. but owned by the govt... 4x4 dmax... kaya naman daw ang malakas ang 4 wheel drive ng dmax... kahit 4x2 lng like mine, iv tried doing some off road narin.. kaya naman.. lakas kc ng engine and nice ang set up ng tranny...
