JARHEAD -- hindi naman humina. Or talagang malakas lang talaga ng NAUTILUS. And hindi naman na-enclosed masyado ung horn ko dahil may large opening sa bandang gilid nya. Pero protektado naman sa tubig and other foreign dirt that could damage my horn. I don't want to splice any wiring kasi gusto ko STOCK pa rin ang mga essential specifications sa sa dmax ko. saka para style "PLUG and PLAY".

And advise ko nga pala pre, use INSULATOR HOSE sa mga wiring mo lalong lalo na sa positive wire mo. negative body ground kasi grounding system natin. marami nyan sa autosupply. just a precautions.. God bless..

    To All:
Be careful sa mga casa. minsan maganda lang sa pandinig if sinasabi nating CASA. but it also depends sa mga technicians dun. my friend told me na ung ibang casa kasi hindi nila pinapalitan ng oil filter and sometimes oil. sasabihin nila OK na. before you go to casa, mark your oilfilter, then after they serviced your car, check whether they realy changed the filter. also, check the oil level if it's between the minimim and the maximum level. One time na nagpachange oil ako, when i checked the oil level, i was surprised it was one inch above the maximum level. hindi ko tuloy alam if talaga bang napalitan ung oil ko or they just topped-up or simply added oil.. God bless..

kaya inayawan ko isuzu pasig, 2 days for 20000km pms. one time nung 10k.kms pms ko nakita ko nakatambay lang dmax ko for over an hour, me hindi man naka lift. wala technician or anything. what are they waiting for, for the fluids to settle. lagi overfilled pa engine oil ko in the 4 times i used their service, i think they pour all 6 liters.

my 20k.kms pms was with isuzu makati, 40k and 60k kms pms, isuzu manila. all done within the day using an appointment or with a block number within no.5.

can you suggest a way to safely paint or lighten the color of the dmax's dipstick. with its dark color its hard to tell the quality of the oil inside the engine.

for my out of warranty dmax. i have used the service of my local servitek for oil changes with mobil oils. and in a previous post, i now know the reputable VIC has relacement parts suitable for the dmax. but all other mechanical jobs, (brakes, bearing repack), sa casa pa. not yet tried other mechanics or shops.

some diy jobs are clearly instructed in the owner's manual

    thanks

Ok naman kami sa isuzu pasig, except for the high oil level (mistubishi pasig din ganyan). Yup they pour all 6 liters.

After the warranty, sa servitek na rin ako papagawa for my suspension parts and sa personal mechanic nako papa change oil.

Habol ko lang talaga is the warranty, baka kasi may biglang masira at hindi ma-claim.

I just got my DMAX from Isuzu Pasig. All else were okay except for the following:

Brake Pads - needs to be replaced na daw. Orig costs 7k. May nakapagpalit na ba gn pads? Parang ang bilis naman mapudpod for 15tkms di kaya? Anyway, may bendix pads na ba for dmax?

Rear Shocks- May visible leak daw yung isang shock absorber sa likod. They will be replacing it daw upon approval ng head nila. Sa ngayon mahina naman daw ang leak pero dapat palitan nila. (I think kurt also had the same problem)

the brake pads price, is it for 1 wheel or for the whole front set? mahal din pala, at 62000kms, so far faint squeaking sounds pa lang. was thinking of replacing na nga but at that price might wait a little longer, d naman nila note for replacement brakes ko nung 60000kms pms so ok pa cguro.

yes you should have them replace it agad. charge to the warranty. our payback. to recall, had isuzu replaced both my front shocks twice, and 1 rear shock absorber. est at 2k a piece, thats 10k value.

    busy mga dmax owners.

ps. for MT, engine oil capacity is at 5.2 L, for AT its 5.8 L, according to the manual. kaya tolerable na cguro ang 200ml

    thanks

    Kurt,

15tkms pa lang ang dmax ko and Isuzu pasig is noting them for replacement already...mukhang may mali yata or gusto lang nila kumita. Anyway, if I find the time, I might visit Servitek Marcos Highway on Saturday to have them take a second look at my pads.

Once na naapprove na ang replacement ng shocks ko ibabalik ko na kaagad para mapalitan yung leaking shocks. KYB din ba gamit nila?

So 6 liters is not that bad at all for my AT DMAX...thanks dude.
