have not searched for replacement brake pads, if its only sqeaking try hosing down the discs and pads, with some scrubing using fingers or rags. sakin kasi nawala nang kaunti, maybe caused by dirt or similar after driving thru floodwaters. ito ay syempre to remedy the squeak. better nga kung pa 2nd opinion with servitek baka manipis na talaga
black colored kyb and with isuzu markings and part number. for silver colored kyb replacement (used the as per sample method) i think for nissan urvan ang naka tatak sa box.
but still the practice of over filling engine oil is bad. especially coming from the casa people, who are certified by the manufacturer to take care of your vehicle. sa MT, thats over 50% overfill, nearly a liter na. thats why i buy the 5-liter container of mobil delvac mx. sakto na yun.

I've had squeaky brake pads too since like 7k. they did reface the disk and replaced the pads, but still some squeaking though not as loud. I tried inquiring for aftermarket pads like those at goodyear servitek but they do not have it. they would have to take out the pad and check for similar sizes on their stock. sabi ko wag na lang, baka kase iba ilagay - guessing game. madamage pa yun overall brake system. but if you guys ever find one, post it here.
edit: by the way, i only have around 10k on the mileage. that was last May, before I left PH.

Hi Cardo,
Automatic din ba ang DMAX mo? I guess sa AT lang ito nangyayari kasi fully dependent sa brakes due to the lack of engine braking. Anyway, I've asked servitek kung may pads na sila and they quoted me 1,200 for the Bendix pads yahoo!!!
Kurt,
Dapat ba idemand ko na palitan lahat ng shocks or yung part lang na nagleleak?
Thanks.

Ang inabot sakin is 12,000php for the whole check up. Maraming pinalitan.
Honestly for me mas maganda ang service ng isuzu pasig than isuzu manila. Yun car ko binili ko sa isuzu manila pero after 5k km check up, sa isuzu pasig na ako. Hanapin niyo c Ryan or Dave, maayos sila kausap. Naiinis ako sa isuzu manila kasi hindi marunong magcoordinate yun service and sales nila. Dati yun nagpacheck up ako ng 1k km, tinawagan ako ng ahente sinabi sakin pwede na pick up tapos pagdating ko di pa ginagawa. Nakakabad trip yun ganun.
Thanks guys!

Jason,
Welcome to the group bro. Yup satisfied din ako sa isuzu pasig and yup si Dave and Ryan nga ang okay na service advisers doon.
So common na pala sa Dmax ang leaking shocks. If this is the case, malamang lamang na palitan na din nila ang leaking shocks ko. Sinilip ko kanina and its leaking alright...hehe.
Andun din ako kanina..ikaw ba yung naka maroon na dmax or yung white? anyway, how much inabot ang HID's mo?

guys, iv learned dat trooper brake pads wud likely fit the dmax brake pads also...
sa waranty, ma void if hindi magamitan ng orig n hindi ata mawala ang ingay if ull use replacement pads.. as per experience ko lng... hehehe.... and yup common ang leaking shocks but sa old model lng ata yan... wala na ako napansin sa mga new dmaxs... automatic trans brake pads usually runs out earlier than than manual trans.... automatic ba inyo lahat ng dmax?
Couldn't have explained it better myself. This was the point I was making. They (either manually or...
