djerms; since matagal pa naman 20k pms mo, why dont you canvass by phone about the rates of different isuzu casas. thats what turned me to manila (or commonwealth: yuchengco group), iba talaga prices nila at looking at the receipts pareho lang jobs gawa.
pasig ang origin ng dmax ko kasi circa 2003 mas mdami service dept. horror stories from non-ayala casas. but since 2005 dahil hindi ako satisfied sa pasig, i tried makati then manila. and in general, its been a long time since i read of horror stories or even basic complaints against isuzu dealerships. maybe as a group they have improved the quality of their after-sales and service depts.
i think by this time you would have a feel on whats the build quality of your dmax. i think you have identified the shocks and brakes as the parts needing attention and they are easily or even better serviced by other reputable shops. and amongst dmax owners here, ian-rex's power window mechanism is what i think would be another considerable claim against th warranty,
but no engine, ecu, aircon, AT/MT transmission or turbo breakdown reported here.
so maybe you can gamble with ending your warranty earlier than mar.2007. as long as you would get considerable savings. like 5-7000 vs ph12000. pero kung 2-3000 lang would still get the casa service. for peace of mind din and baka you never know may bigla may part needing warramty replcement thats worth more than you would have saved.
but yun engine components like ecu and turbo, since wala ako alam ibang shop casa service parin.
no was out of town.
