Try to look for James aka Torque here in Tsikot. He is the marketing officer sa Autotechnika. He showed me a ecu analyzer sa Fort branch. Not sure tho kung may software na sila for Dmax.

Ok thanks so much! The software is not necessarily for the Max. Kahit ano lang siguro, gas or turbo diesel. Been looking all over the Net kasi but so far it comes in a bundle if you buy a high end NOS Kit .

guys, does any of you knows how our anti theft system work? coz iv tested my dmax... i locked it and opened it as if ninakaw.. the alarn went off but the engine still starts...

AFAIK Once pinasok mo na ang key sa socket, the alarm will automatically turn off.

djerms, hindi sakin eh... ummandar ang engine and the same time the alarm screaming... meron b kaya microchip keys natin? like the alterra....

guys eto na yung filter. stock tube lang yan and the guy who installed it said na there will be greater improvement sa airflow when i change it to the metal tube. Take note sa huge extra space beneath it! Dami pa pwedeng lagay dyan like your favorite horn

wala talagang pang engine shut off yan...mabuti pa yung frontier ng 2.7E ganun ang alarm...nago-off ang starter.

the best option is probably to install a hidden cut-off switch.

mahirap lang sa cone-type filter is ung maaksidenteng mabasa kapag umulan. yari ang engine mo nyan. i think dapat mo munang i-validate yan. lagyan mo ng dyaryo ang palibot ng filter, lock-down the hood, then spray water sa hood, bumper and grill. after that, check if nabasa ung dyaryo.

if i use the drop-in type, very safe from water. also, malakas nga ang airflow ng cone-type filter, but mainit ang hangin na pumapasok sa kanya coming from the engine. unlike sa, stock, naka-route ata ang airflow inside the fender..

mas maganda if ganito na lang ang ikabit natin sa dmax natin. mas may peace of mind pa tayo. mga carnapper kasi ngaun hightech na rin, kahit hightech ang alramsystem mo, kaya nilang paandarin.

o kaya maganda siguro ung pagnapaandar na nila ung car natin, sasabog ung sasakyan natin. atleast hindi nacarnap. hehe

nag-inquire ako sa RATS 4X4 regarding sa ARB and OLD MAN EMU products:

1. The Dakar Emu leaf springs are out of stock we can order this for you it willcost about Peso 18,000.00 for a pair
the polybushings are Peso 3,000.00 for the pair to suit the leaf springs.
2. The Nitrocharger shocks are Peso 22,000.00 for the set of four.
3. The safari snorkel is not in stock and will need to be ordered cost is about Peso 19,500.00
4. The ARB towbar is not in stock and will need to be ordered the cost is about Peso 17,500.00
5. There is no Sahara bars available for the Dmax only the de luxe winch or bullbars are available for this model.
Please advise if your model is the old Grill version as the newer grill will not fit the current de luxe bumper range of ARB. Can you take a photo of your vehicles front grill and email it to us.

ang balak ko bumili ng SHOCKS NITROCHARGER then baligtarin ang pinakalast na leafspring.

GUYS, ok lang kaya if baligtarin ko na lang kahit hindi na ko bumili ng shocks???

P4,500 yan from an authorized K&N dealer shop. May mas malaki pa dyan but then it would be overkill na. I swear on improved hp and mileage especially sa long hi-way drives

I did that already. The "validation" was done with thin paper during washing; walang tama. Then while driving in the rain one time, i accidentally went through a long stretch of road with an inch high of water. When I got home I checked the filter and the surrounding area, very dry lang. But then again I do not practice splashing thru water like in commercials, di lang filter siguro ang basa dyan pati oil filter mo yari!

Sa isang episode ng NG pinakita bagong car security system wherein naglagay sila kuryente sa lahat ng door handle ng sasakyan. It's 110 volts pa naman.
