Isuzu Dmax Owners [ARCHIVED]

This coming April weeks me and my family will be traveling to Isabela and Cagayan via the Cagayan Valley Road. From Santiago City, we'll take the road via Aurora and Mallig to Quezon. Thence, we'll proceed to Cagayan - Tuguegarao, Penablanca, Aparri & Sta. Ana.

On our way back to Cavite, we would take the other side - Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Baguio City, Pangasinan, Tarlac.

I would appreciate your advices about the conditions of the roads (repairs, bad conditions, heavy traffic) along the way.

The roads are passable and with DMax, you really don't have to care the road :D Enjoy the scene instead.

The sad thing is that we are so left behind when it comes to models and features. We probably get what they can't sell in Thailand and other markets. I love my DMAX but I always have this feeling that we are not that important a market to them. Just look at the Thai and Australian site. Even the engine output. What they offer in other markets is so much better. Oh well, I think Isuzu thinks we don't know how to access info in the internet.

Short term at bottom line lang kasi ang iniisip ng mga distributor dito. Pero hindi lang naman Isuzu. Most distributors of the Japanese brands are slow to introduce new models and are more concerned with their profit margins than with brand building. Ibang iba sa mga Korean brands, maya't maya parang may bagong model/variant na pinaparating.

I have read the back threads medyo nahilo na ako sa kakabasa, I would like to know where can I buy shocks, Old Man Emu or Bilstein, or rancho, nag leak na kasi ang front shocks ko and quote ng walang kwetang casa didto is 6.5k per piece.

Ano bang ma suggest ninyo? and san pwede maka bili nito. Mga taga cebu na members basin naa mo suggest bai? tabang sad be. Ang naa diri kasagaran is Kayaba and Tokiko, wala para dmax para sa trooper lang, pareho lang ba ito?

used kayaba.... ok naman, cheap but durable... yup mag fit ang trooper sa dmax na shocks... try sa CFG bai..

i just put on some kayaba shocks on our pick up and inverted the leafspring and taadaaaaaa... the ride got softer compare before.. hehehe... and tried loading it up para lalambot pa ang leafspring , even loaded it up with 2 oil drums at once and drove to a rocky road.. nothing broke naman.. hehehe...

what if we replace our rear suspension with a trooper rear suspension?? or maybe replace the rear axle with a trooper also para LSD and disc brake narin.. hehehe... that would be a nice project narin soon... hehehhe....

memphis, think your planning to do it ah... hehehe.. wala naman masyado mabago sa brake lines... but i think you have to spend also sa abs sensor... brake lines is just to replace the rear end part of the hose.. yun parang rubber hose think wiht a longer one but not so sure yet.. think its gonna be a very big project.. lots of things to figure out...

hello mga boss

dmax owner din ako

kaso mejo nagkakaproblema na dmax ko,pag babad sa traffic mejo tumataas yung temp niya.

now cooling problem ito for sure,and for sure ang culprit is dirty radiator due to tap water ang gamit ko minsan or faulty thermostat,i have 04 dmax btw?

plan ko palinis sana yung rad and palitan ng oem thermostat.

now my question is meron ba kayong alam na naglilinis ng plastic top radiators and mabibilan ng oem thermostat aside casa..(mas ok if dito sa south area: alabang/laguna pero if manila area talaga ok lang rin sakin)

tried asking denso mismo but consequently, they dont clean up dmax rads daw.

I hope someone could shed some light,natatakot ako gamitin yung dmax kasi baka lumalala pa yung prob.
