Honestly, I do not know how the 5100 performs since I was specific to request for an HD. I have had my HD on my Trooper since 2005. So far, so good. Imagine, naka 22" rims on 305/40R22 tires ako since new on HDs, mas swabe pa ride ng Trooper ko vs. a brand new, stock Alterra!

Hehehe! Seriously, I would recommend you to have your brakes checked at baka nawala sa tamang position/adjustment yung calipers mo. Brake yan.... a safety item..... not something to belittle and compromise.

Help naman mga DMAX bros, i have a situation with my 04 LS 4X2. Honestly im dumbfounded on the issue, nagbabawas (significantly) kase ng engine oil but wala naman ako naexperience na nagover heat yung unit ko. There are no leaks, no trace of oil sa engine block, di rin mausok, no rough idling and high temp issues. Ang napansin ko lang is mas maingay yung engine nya ngayon than before. Other than that everything is normal. What could be the culprit for the oil disappearing act? !

you have to remove the intercooler hose near the turbo and check the if it is wet with oil. also you can check na lang the turbo impeller. BTW how much oil do you top up and how many times in a month do your car need to be topped up with oil?

Almost 1/4 L a month e (average) kaya medyo worried ako, the oil indicator doesnt even light up maski below operating volume (below the two holes sa dipstick) na sha. Just in case the intercooler hose is wet what do i do? Thanks in advance for helping. BTW what is the turbo impeller?

Hello. D-max owner here. There were 2 plastic covers for the optional lights in the front (I dont know what theyre called so I hope you know what Im talking about) but now theyre gone. There was just this accident happened.

Anyway, just wanna ask where I could buy those covers. I already went to casa but was told that theyre not selling the said covers. I want to buy the covers coz the front of my D-max looks like there are 2 big bullet holes.

Thanks in advance for the info.

    Mga Sirs!

I have been researching about DMAX 4 X 2 LS (with CRDI engine) Fuel Consumption and trying to compare the Automatic transmission and the Manual transmission. But due to massive info that I'm getting, hindi ko na alam alin ang tama.

Can anyone share the differfence of the two interms of Fuel Consumption (Km/L) based from actual experience?

automatic transmission vehicles cost much more fuel then manual transmission, hands down, kahit sino tanongin mo.. it would just matter on the driving habit... meron din automtic na tipid dahil sa driver and meron din manual na maaksaya dahil sa driver.... but just for normal day to day drive with out using or doing any fuel saving driving technique the automatic transmission consumes more fuel talaga... kahit ako, iv have driven automtics and done some fuel saving technique, still it wouldnt match up to a manual transmission fuel consumption... and choosing ur vehicle would depend also on usage... automatic is really good for city driving specially in manila... and kung sa manila lng na takbo and stop and go traffic fuel consumption of both vehicles is nearly the same... only that the automtic is more comfortable to drive...

Nice find! Galing ng articulation nya sa rear. Effortless ang hill climb!

Magkano kaya conversion from 4x2 to 4x4? :naughty2:
