Whew! 700k for a 2nd hand Dmax! I didn't know it is still that expensive. If you are opting for brand new, try inquiring at different dealerships and choose the one that could give you the best offer.
Pertaining to bounciness, if the bed is empty, for me I find it tolerably bouncy but only in uneven roads but if the bed is full, it's like gliding on the road. If you drive it often, you wouldn't even notice anymore. My answer is it is relative. It depends on how sensitive a person is.
I have driven both the Hilux D4D 4x4 A/T and Dmax 4x2 LS .... IMO mas matagtag ang Dmax than the Hilux. I have been driving pickups for more than 20 years... yung Hilux na modelo... I'd consider it like driving a sedan car.... all the rest (including the DMax) are plain pick-up.
BTW yung old Isuzu Fuego LS also have very soft ride for a pick-up.
Kung patagtagan ang basehan, wala ng tatalo sa Nissan Frontier
memph - ako pumili nyan sa axis lot... hehe..758T-38T(discount)-30T(maxima)= 690T. fresh talaga....taga LP ang 1st owner...
sadly, di suby kapalit ko...under 1M na sub-compact hatch...antay lang namin ung P.O from the bank, then ung release ng car...katagal ilabas ang brand-new, lalo na kung loan...pero i think its worth my wait.

Hello mga sir, tanong ko lang po, almost lahat po ba ng Dmax Owners na may engine na ITEQ 3.0 CRDI nakakaexperience ng MIL problem? un nalang po kasi pumipigil sakin na bumili ng DMAX and also the Fuel Consumption, i read some forums that DMAX 3.0 has a 9 to 11KM/L consumption. totoo po ba yun? pero sabi samin ng isuzu cabanatuan 18km/L daw po ang review ng DOE. ano po kaya ang totoo kasi po kung nag 9km/l siya. masiyadong mababa.
and regarding po sa MIL problem, ang reason daw po nun ay nakargahan ng maduming diesel thats why ngwawarning. maganda nga daw po un kasi winawarningan ka na niya kaagad before maasira engine mo. bagong fuel filter lang naman daw ang solution dun and follow your PMS. is it true?![]()
i was inquiring at shell station for manual transmission fluid replacement using rimula 15w-40 like the manual says. but the keep insisting they use spirax 90 for transmissions. lalo na may dispenser sila for that para insert sa refill hole.
is that ok?
is it normal for phil. conditions to use diesel engine oil as manual transmission fluid?
btw. the fluid still looks clean even after nearly 2yrs of use. but i opt to replace it narin coz matagal na sya.

YUP palitna mo na yan kurt... kahit malinaw p yun oil mo meron din mga metyal shavings nyan sa loob and mawawala rin ang minerals or aditives ng oil over time.. kaya suggestion ng IPC is every 20,000 or 1 year.... DONT use gear oil 90 sa transmission but engine oil 15w40.... isuzu lang gumagamit nyan... malinis naman taalag oil ng transmiision kahit 5 years pa yan lalot engine oil gamit nag isuzu...
mga boss i have a question lang..balak ko kasi baklasin yung rubber mouldings sa roof..yung black na nasa may rain gutter..nakadikit lang ba yun ng moulding tape??or may parang mga clips pa yun??an one more thing..since dumadami na tayo dito wala bang parang dmax club???hehehe or forum para sa mga dmax enthusiast???
ang alam ko merun clip yung rubber moulding na nasa bubuong (as explained by CASA to me)
Yup! I hear my dmax whistling lalo na pag nasa expressway. Parang it helps the engine everytime it does that. By the way, I'm driving an old look 2007 Dmax M/T (hindi pa iTeq). I'm very happy with it. Fc is 14-16km/l. Minsan 17km/l. 65%city35%Hiway. The next time I'm getting a vehicle, Isuzu ulet.
May isang problem lang ako. Clutch release bearing I think. I hear a rattling sound pag idle. Then pag tinapakan mo ang clutch, mawawala. Anyway, it doesn't affect performance. But medyo tumitigas na ang clutch napapansin ko. Any opinion guys kung ano talaga problema nya? I'm having it checked sa casa next week.
mga sir ask ko lng po if normal lang po ba yung parang may leak na konti sa may water separator ata yun.lagi kasi basa yun part na yun ng krudo dumudumi tingnan.dmax 2008 ls po ride ko.tnx![]()
i have a question din..don't know if this is normal or what..kapag nakalagay yung key sa on..yung fuel gauge ko is tumataas papunta sa normal level..pero once nagclick ako..bigla baba sa empty yung gauge and then pag nagstart na yung car totally tataas ulit sa normal yung gauge..is this normal?nagets niyo ba description ko??
Yes Van, normal po yan since ang fuel gauge natin is triggered to switch-on when the key is at the Acc or Accessories position ng ignition.
caloy141 - no sir, that is not normal. Have it checked asap kasi baka may crack sa gasket or seals nito. Kahit anong leak na makikita mo have it traced agad to prevent potential, crippling damage.

Sir we have the same dilema. Here's the post I made last January of this year when I went to have mine warrantied.
HTH.Ok guys I just had my clutch replaced under warranty from Isuzu Ayala Cebu.
So for those of you who have been experiencing that horrific sounding clatter sound when you depress the clutch when idling/parked here is what we found during the service - defective clutch spring.
It wasn't the release bearing as we earlier suspected - that bearing was perfectly intact. They simply replaced the clutch disc with an OEM type. Wish I could provide pictures but I didn't bring my cam at the time of service which was done in less than two hours. As it turned out, in 2008, they have replaced defective clutch springs in about 5 D-max units.
Kudos to Nolan and his super efficient 'Pit Crew' who made the replacement look like child-play. They even checked my suspension, some electricals, fluids, etc.
Mystery solved
