MODS:
1. Stebel Nautilus: installed without splicing any wire (aka plug and play)
2. Rhino lining and carryboy roller bed
3. hood deflector
yan pa lang kasi my pamilya na ko. kay baby lang napupunta lahat ng ipon ko. pro in the future heto balak kong ikabit:
1. APEXi turbo timer
2. Pioneer AVH-P6850 2 DIN LCD monitor
3. TV tuner
4. Rear view camera
in terms sa mags, gusto ko stock lang kasi mas efficient ang takbo ng sasakyan pag stock, unless of course mga lightned mags na un kinabit mo pero abot langit naman ang presyo nito..
2DMAX,
So wala na screws na tatanggalin to replace the foglights? Kakatakot kasi pag nahawakan ang bulb or malagyan ng dumi di ba mapupundi yun?
I just checked my AT fluid kanina. ok naman level. I drove off first then move thru all gears tapos HOT reference ko. oks naman. But sad to say above max talaga ang engine oil level ko. Next PMS I have to tell isuzu to lessen the oil, that is if im still going to isuzu. I might go to autotechnica nalang since sila ang pinaka ok na service centers na nakita ko so far. mura pa labor. Grabe pala labor ng isuzu for 5tkms, halos 2k.
on e of these days, i'll be sharing my experience from my dmax. i just started consolidating everything from my log sheet. hope to share it with you guys.
what oil are you using for your dmax? ako kasi Mobil Delvac Mx 15W-40. CI-4 category na kasi 'to, the latest category sa diesel engine. OK sana ung fully synthetic ng MOBIL kaso mga around 2700 php for 5 liters. masyadong mahal. But change oil interval would be every 10000 kms/one year whichever comes first..
and one thing, what oil are you using for your transmission? the manual says to use engine oil. that is SAE 40 rating. but i think casa are using SAE 90, if i'm not mistaken. so on my 30000 km c/up, i'm planning on using engine oil for my transmission..
Guys ingat lang sa paglagay ng oil not listed in the manual. There are oils na hindi compatible sa engine in terms of driving conditions. Yung trooper ko before nasa manual is mineral based oil lang. nung mag synthetic ako nagbabawas when used in sustained speed travel na long distance.
But kung hindi naman nagbabawas, I guess ok lang ang fully sinthetic.
Baka 10W-30 ung oil na un. not recommended in sustained high engine speed nga talaga un. recommended kasi sa klima natin is SAE ??W-40 or plain SAE 40. mas ok if fully synthetic basta rating nya sa last two digit is 40, dahil pag fully synthetic mas lesser ang molecular breakdown ng oil overtime kaya ung performance ng oil to lubricate halos hindi nagbabago..
I think it's better to use this one than other alarm system available in the market. reliable, tough, will last a lifetime unlike electronic alarm system na hindi mo alam kung kailan masisira, unreliable. this one is more functional!
2dmax,
Visit ka kay Rey's Autoelectrical sa marikina. Ask them to put on an ignition switch/kill. Ipatago mo, you can even put in 2 switches. Way back its only 700 petot a kit. Yan ang gamit ko before sa Trooper. HTH
