50k.kms pms for 6000. costs less than when i had mine, mga 12000 pa.
basically its a 20k.kms procedure, change all fluids, grease and lubricants. with the addition of changing the air and fuel filters.
but if they done the above during your 40k.kms pms, change oil and tune basically and brake cleaning nalang ciguro sa 50k.kms.
where did you get your tires bro??mura ba??kasama na lahat??mounting balancing etc????am planin din to upgrade ng ganyan size..u have pix of the tires installed na???finally, got new tires for my dmax. upgraded to pirelli scorpion atr at 5,900 ea.
265/70/r16 narin. based my choice on reviews from tirerack.com, general appearance and comparitively cheaper than dueler 694 (my first choice before). yun at/r type daw ng pirelli ay "softer AT" better suited for on-road use versus traditional A/t.
satisfied ako pero. just located the age of the tire its week 40 year 2007. or about 7 months old na. is this still ok nearly a year na since date of manufacture upto first use ko?
its probably nothing was just expecting year 2008 tires.
tires only, plus new pito each. seperate ko pa pagawa balancing at wheel alignment sa servitek. marikina lamuan.
i think its market price narin. pero yun 6200 (cash) per bridgestone 694 is the lowest i got.
if you want, latest model ata sa market is that dunlop at3 like memphis's, same price like pirelli. but soft compound daw kaya tendency mas madaling maupod.
take note yun clearance sa front. mala millimiters nalang ata pag todo kabig liko bago may tamaan sa wheel area.
pirelli tires are the official tires of WRC, yun nalang last (porma factor) basis ko over bridgestone na F1 naman.
wala naman rubbing issues ang 265/70/r16???any recommendations pa na brand of tires for dmax???dunlop and pirelli lang???what about yung bridgeston a/t revo??
Hey guys, dami nyo na palang posts. Check attendance muna...
x_jason_x buti naman nakapost ka uli busy ka ata eh. If I remember correctly, there was a D-max owner here that has reached the 50K service. I think he also had his bearings repacked aside from the fuel and air filters.
vanleano - sobra luwag pa ang 265s. I think you won't have any rubbing even up to a rim width of about 8". Our stock 7" have no problems with this. Pirelli Scorpion was my first choice before the AT3s, good feedback kasi ang pirellis, but then I wanted to try out the newest from the Grantrek series which has a more aggressive sidewall design.
Kurt is right, my first observation sa AT3s is the very soft sidewalls so I guess the compound is semi-soft to medium. Tire life I can't tell kasi nga bagong labas pa. What I really like about it is that it offers a cushy ride and has a neat grip around the bends.
what really set me up for the pirellis was the scorpion logo. astig. wish it could have been twice as big.
i have something on my mind though that wants me to re-set the mounting of my tires. according to the carbibles.com parang the yellow or red colored dot must be the marker where you should align the pito for a better balance. but nung kabit bagong tires bara-bara lang.
end result could be the use of more weights to balance the wheel/tire. yun lang.
MR,
oo nga e. busy kasi super sa school kaya di makapost. hehe. Ah so kailangan pa pala iparepack yun wheel bearings. Di ko yun pinapagawa sa casa kasi I dont want them removing my mags.
OT: kala ko wala na dmax thread natin, yun pala nasa sticky na! haha
Hi to all,
I just want to ask who knows how to adjust the headlights for the new DMAX with projectors. I tried turning the two 8mm nuts on the back of the headlight but they both adjust the up and down of the projector lights only. How can i adjust the left - right on the projectors? Also the high beam how do i adjust it? Please help if you have already tried this adjustments on your headlights.
Thank you![]()
^^^ Oo nga sa wakasThanks also to the kind admin for granting this
In fact mas marami pa nga ang posts, replies, pics and tech stuff here than the Isuzu Thailand counterpart. Meron din akong nakita sa mga Thai D-max sites na may parang "all-new look" ang D-max for 2010. I'll try to find it again kasi di ko na save yung site.
Pareho lang siguro yung common-rail engine kasi mention lang dun ay looks lang-from what I saw sa concept na pic, it appeared to be bigger na in dimensions.
i see...so my choices are pirelli scorpion..dunlop grandtrek at3 and yung bridgestone a/t revo..saw it at tire rack and maganda yung mga reviews..thanks sa mga inputs...anyway am just wondering bat parang wala yata dmax club??as in dmax club lang talaga...Strada kasi have one and fortuner club..sir memphis kaw kaya magumpisa ng dmax club...hehehe
guys naoff road action ko dmax ko sa mountains ng hamilo batangas. very muddy yun road kasi umuulan that time. ayos naman performance ng dmax natin. Lakas ng engine.
vanleano - It's a good idea sir, but I am barely qualified to initiate because nasa probinsya lang po ako and the majority of owners here sa thread is Luzon based. You guys are in a better position to start

Sa observation ko lang mga peeps, what we have here in this thread is more than a club. To me it's like a family - a family that started waaaay back when Kurt first posted this 'home' for us owners more than 4 years ago (january of 2004).
Since then our constant interaction here have formed solid friendships that has spanned across the country, shared our 'ups and downs' experiences, patronized each others products and services, exchanged useful and sensible knowledge to improve our workhorses and just recently, witnessed in delight the evolution of the D-max to its present model....the list still goes on.
What I have also noticed is that most of our D-max's here are constantly doing more important tasks than sitting in a showroom stance. It doesn't seem to have the time na magpa-pogi because it is always out there in the field doing what it does best which is to work with no hesitation.
just my :twocents:

--Yeah, I totally agree with Memphis R., this thread has evolved into something more than a club -- a family, where we share anything under the sun about our common ride and grow with it. And on the way, know and meet diverse people from all walks of life sharing a common interest and bonding together.
Hey, by the way peeps, had my first alternator belt change last April 25 in Isuzu Bacolod on my 33,372 Km run. Cost me about P1200. It was a good call as the belt was already showing signs of brittleness when inspected.
hindi pa nga dmax ang ride ko nuon... now my odometer na have just passed 100,000kms
exactly..this thread helped me alot talaga...di na nga ako makapost minsan cause yung mga itatanong ko minsan andito na..back read na lang...hahaha
