pickup w/ 174 hp, 403n.m of torque (highest figures in pickup category) YD25DDTi engine type This pickup is designed pang high speed rather than real offroading. flexibility wise for me, mey edge ang dmax.

Yes, I agree. That pickup isn't really designed for real offroading. Makikita mo naman sa height nya-its lower than most 4x4s

Hello to everyone. I just acquired my d-max (2nd hand lang po, 2006 model LX) last month. It's a very good pick-up and now that I've read your comments, I'm very glad d-max and binili ko. Thanks!

    yup the NISSAN NAVARA specs.

I have respect with the 4x4 frontier, pero yung navara na nilabas dito parang hilaw nga ... kailangan mai-off road talaga ang mga iyan para maprubahan.

yup... sa tulad naming ahente.... value for money ang mga nissan (kasi mabilis at engine is matibay - pero yung body nung mga ultra eagle and classic very kalawangin nga lang, at frontier is powerfull but lumalaklak ng krudo) at isuzu (fuego and dmax - halos magsing tipid sa fuel, pero fuego lack in speed - sa dmax naman mabilis).

i have yet to see if dmax will last "forever" like the oldschool isuzu pick-ups that i have driven.... upto now bilib pa ako sa isuzu luv (1600 engine na short single cab) na naging first vehicle that i drove.

Sir Memphs, di ba dapat yung 265 is the tire width so yung series ang dapat mas mataas para mag-increase ang ride height (i.e. 265/75 R16)?

Yes that's right, 75 is taller than 70 but then I found that too bulky/heavy na when I fitted it at first so that's why I stuck with the 70. As you will observe...

the 265/70R16 profile is already very large. In fact we had to cut(!) some body work at the front wheel wells to give way and then up the torsion by a few clicks and then I had to get longer shackles for the rear springs.

So now the truck is about 2.5 - 3 inches taller na due to the adjustments. Very happy with the set-up

^^^ Ah oo. Actually I was forced to remove the front ones because it would be eaten alive by the tires so I also had to remove the rear set para match :lolabove:

Ah ok. So the lift is due to the torsion & shackle adjustments to accomodate the larger diameter tires. How's the ride now, softer or bouncier or just the same?

I forgot to mention nga pala that prior to this, I had my last 2 leafs sa leaf pack inverted which greatly improved the ride - softer na! I tried inverting the last (shortest) leaf at first then tested the ride which wasn't really that much of an improvement that's why I went for the double inversion.

With the new tires, there was a further improvement and I believe that the softer sidewalls of the Dunlops really helps because it flexes so much better than our stock ones. Tigas pala ng stock tires!

Big improvement talaga sa ride because of these changes

    * wildthing: 70 ang aspect ratio nya
