with the current high price ng crosswind now, I can say na maswerte pa pala ako. although mas medyo advance mga features nya now (e.g projector lamps).... I own 2008 xuv, that time mura pa yon compare sa presyo now, considering na halos the same lang naman yung vehicle. halos walang pinag iba when it comes to engine, suspension, body....yung price difference nya for me parang hindi compensated yung mga dinagdag na festures nya....so maswerte pa rin tayong mga naka 08 model.:peace:

    XUV07 :30500km 2 years and 3 mos na.
so far wala pang major replacement nangyari x wind ko only clutch overhaul nag crack daw rubber at 20k km at 25k km twice nag overhaul.
wala pa akong na notice either sa radiator and exhaust.

ang problema sakin ngaun ay ang mugs ko na goodyear sa mga XUV models kasi UNEVEN TIRE WEAR at parang nag wabble at 60kph ang ingay2x...
sabi ng isuzu GOODYEAr tires ng crosswind daw mostly the same case as mine.. they recoment MICHELNE,DUNLOP or BRIGEsTNE.. may na notice ba kayo sa gulong nyo na GoodYear XUV owners??

Walang kasalanan ang gulong sa uneven tire wear at wabble...nasa propper alignment, camber or caster alignment ng vehicle yan. I also experinced this to my XUV 08, nung pinacheck ko sa servitek they found out na may camber alignment problem. nung nagawa pina rotate ko 4 na gulong to check kung na correct yung problem, ayun, pumantay tire wear nya, nawala din wabble.

From what I know, projector headlamps provide "farther" light range but with narrower (width) range. This is also the reason why there are non-existing projector headlamps that is with low/high bulb combo. There is a separate HI BEAM.... where H4 (smoked or crystal) is the opposite. It provides wider light range.

But in terms of "brightness", it should be the comparable.

I see, so di naman pala significant in terms of brightness, just the reach. Anyway I was planning sana to upgrade to projector lamps pero medyo may issue sa pricing so postpone nalang muna until next year or until kaya na ung pricing, medyo mahal din kasi ung projector headlights.

Why not? Basta when you request for a quote sa CASA, get the quote for a 2010 headlamp assy para when claim is granted, pasok sa budget nung 2010 headlamp assy.

Bad I know but I did this with my 1997 Cefiro before. Did the "hammertime" job on the rear garnish/tailamps to upgrade to a 1998-99 look.

No worries. Your back door hinges would hold up.

I have no photo but I have seen the "reinforcement" used on sporty models' backdoor. Matibay talaga and I'd say it may have been "overdone". It is even more likely that the sparetire carrier at the back may give in but surely not the reinforcement where it is attached.
